This gentleman did an exceptional job in the removal of my carpets and installation of my vinyl flooring! One of the first things that prompted me to hire him was that he really listens to what the customer wants. He listened and provided multiple options for me. He has a very strong/good work ethic. He arrived on time each day of the project, and stayed until he continued the planned schedule for each day. He has very high standards for the quality of his work. He is very detailed and meticulous. He was also so respectful of my items throughout the house. He handled everything with great care. He is also very neat. He cleaned up after his work DAILY, including replacing the furniture in the completed rooms, and even sweeping up. (He even remade the beds in the guest room) When the job was over, he removed all of the old carpet and used supplies, and sent a photo informing me that the garage was clean. At the end of each day, he provided me with photos of the days work. the transformation of my home was amazing, and I am very grateful to his integrity, quality, and detail throughout his work. Two of my colleagues have already requested his contact information after seeing my photos of his installation! I am DEFINITELY planning to hire him again. I have learned that his skill at bathroom remodeling is excellent as well. Let me point out that all of this was on the precipice of Hurricane Isaias, yet he remained focused and completed the work prior to the landfall in nearby cities on that evening.

I posted yesterday ..had a bad experience w another company. I came across 6 companies who could do the job, got a reply from Maurice, I sent him pics of the job, he gave me good quote…he showed up the next day and within 5 hours…done…great guy, great service and super pro…now I’m asking him to do another job in my home…I’m a fan of his talents.,.look no further he’s the guy .. thank you again Maurice great job
Mauricio did a great job on my small kitchen. Work was done fast but professionally, and his cleanup was great. Fair pricing for a small job! I would use him again.
I would have marked all, but it would not allow me to. He was punctual and his workmanship was excellent. He was cautious and very clean as he worked. He left everything tidy and took the garbage with him. He and his electrician are professional and accommodating! I wish more contractors were like them! I recommend 100%!
We recently had our patio screened in and our lanai screening removed. We then needed a border on our lanai tile to cover the previous framing. Mauricio responded quickly to our request. His estimate was reasonable and he completed the job well before our deadline (upcoming party). We are so happy with his work and will be hiring him again for our bathroom shower tile job.
Our experience with Mauricio was exceptional from the first message to the finished project! After contacting Mauricio based on the reviews, I received a response the same day. My project involved installing tile on my walk in shower floor. After sending a couple of photos and a description of what I wanted, Mauricio sent photos of tile samples. Mauricio then went to our local Lowe’s store and selected the materials needed for the job, and a Lowe’s associate took my payment by phone. By request, Lowe’s emailed me the receipt for my purchase. My husband and I chose a date for Mauricio to begin our project, and he completed the installation on the same day. Overall, I am more than pleased with the installation. My shower floor looks great, and my husband and I are enjoying it immensely! I would not hesitate to hire Mauricio again.
This was a painless experience. Mauricio responded immediately to my message on Thumbtack, came out & started the SAME day. He was professional at all times & did a wonderful job installing tile in our shower. The bathroom looks stunning now!
Mauricio was great, very responsive and professional. My job was delayed due to me not having enough tile, but he finished the job as soon as it came in and was very quick to respond every step of the way, beautiful install. I could not be happier with his work. Great value too, very fair with pricing and worth every penny.
Mauricio is an artist. By adding this backsplash, he turned a dull kitchen into the home’s center of conversation. He is punctual, focused, and works hard to please the customer. I highly recommend MKFreitas LLC for all your tile requirements!
I wanted a backsplash and Mr. Freitas put up a beautiful kitchen backsplash.
