About MOORESHOTS LLC
Hi, I’m Karl—an Atlanta-based photographer specializing in corporate, commercial, sports, and event photography. MOORESHOTS began with my dad. Growing up, I watched him photograph trains, depots, and railroad history with incredible passion and attention to detail. After retiring, he turned that passion into a successful business, selling his images worldwide and seeing his work published on the covers and pages of railroad magazines and books. Watching him do what he loved—and succeed—left a lasting impression on me. Years later, as my own kids started playing sports, I picked up a camera to capture those fleeting moments and document their lives. Photography became more than a hobby—it was a way to preserve memories and spend meaningful time with my dad, learning from his experience and love for the craft. Today, I’m living my dream as a professional photographer and visual storyteller, traveling across the country and beyond. With over a decade of experience as a photojournalist, I’ve learned how to tell powerful stories through images, capture authentic moments, and focus on the details that matter. I truly enjoy collaborating with clients—taking their ideas and elevating them through my creative vision. I’m grateful to work with an incredible range of clients, including top professional sports teams, universities, law firms, tech companies, advertising agencies, and magazines throughout the Atlanta area and beyond. Photography is my medium for translating how I see the world into images that inform, inspire, and connect. And now—just like my dad—my work has appeared on the covers and pages of books and magazines, as well as on billboards, in stadiums, commercial properties, and numerous media outlets. Thanks, Dad.
Reviews
We had an excellent experience with Mooreshots LLC. We had a Best Buy project that we needed final photos taken for our website. The photos Karl took were just what we were looking for. Great shots of the inside and outside of the store. Really captured some of the big changes made to the store. He was also very patient with us, since we went back and forth with a date quite a few times. This was on our end and waiting on certain supplies to finish the store. Definitely would use Karl again on another project.
Carl displayed immense professionalism, and the quality of his work was second to none. I would highly recommend him for anyone searching in the future!
KLMoore Photography was an incredible experience - both personally and professionally. From the moment Karl called me on the phone, he GOT what I was looking for. He described in detail his vision for my project that mirrored what I had been thinking. It was such a positive experience and he captured the essence of what I was trying to convey with my images. Looking forward to working with him - over and over and over again! Thank you, Karl! Great to meet you.
I hired Karl for a self directed shoot. He was responsible for establishing a relationship with the person being photographed, scheduling the shoot, and of course capturing amazing shots. It was a pleasure working with Karl.
Karl was an absolute joy to work with and offered many creative solutions to our Photography needs.
Karl was wonderful to work with. Very conscientious and clearly takes pride in the product he produces. He is on our short list of photographers to use again.
He couldn't have been nicer or more professional. The pictures turned out great, and I was really impressed from beginning to end with the experience, thanks so much!
Karl will be doing a photo session for me in June, however, from the time he replied to my request on Thumb Tack he has been extremely professional and delightful to speak to and meet to discuss my photo shoot. He has such a creative and artistic eye in planning to shoot my art work.
Karl Moore was an excellent photographer to work with. He shot photos of Jackson Acura's NSX supercar and he definitely did it justice. He turned photography into an art form. 10/10 would recommend!
