Motif Makers

We've worked with Marco and his team on two projects for our house so far and we will definitely be contacting him again for future projects. Our projects included carpentry/drywall and electrical and ducting. Marco is responsive, clear, kind, reliable, and did great work. His prices were super competitive, but we didn't feel at all like we were compromising on quality. He was also honest when one of the projects took less time than estimated and needed fewer materials, lowering the cost accordingly. We can't say enough good things and highly recommend!

I’m finally writing a well deserved and very overdue review. We are now on our 4th project in less than 2 years with Motif Makers. They expanded an existing deck, did a complete remodel on a rental duplex, repaired my mothers deck, and now are rebuilding the deck around our swimming pool. They are a fantastic team to work with. Communication is great, listens to our ideas and makes suggestions for even better concepts. They have always been on time from start to finish. The crew is respectful of our property. Took on extra work and even stayed on schedule. Never have they asked for a review to bump their ratings (a previous Thumbtack pro had asked this of us, to qualify for a discount). At this rate we may just be able to complete most items on our never ending ‘to do’ list. You should have no doubts in hiring Motif Makers for your next project.

After meeting with 5 other contractors we finally met Marco from Motif Makers. He was open to all of my ideas for my farmhouse kitchen and bath remodel…. Some of which were not cookie cutter straight forward solutions. He went with it so to speak. And I so appreciate his risk taking to help bring my vision to life! Marco is fair, talented, responsive, and communicative. I have no hesitation in recommending him to my friends or bringing him over again as we continue improving our home.

Working with Marco is an absolute joy. He is very responsive and patient with me and the changes we had to make. He was initially contacted to do my bathroom but since it fell through because of my unfortunate experience with somebody else on Thumbtack, I asked him to do my patio instead. If but for a few cups and trash from his crew that I had to put away, Marco was such a blessing to me. Love the work they did and my boyfriend and I wasted no time decorating it. I have already recommended him to some of my friends and they are now enjoying working with him. Will for sure hire him again for my future projects.

Some type of communication would be great. They came looked at the multiple projects I asked for. Said they would reach out soon and two weeks later still no quote. I don’t know about anyone else but a rating over 3 stars baffles me.

Working with Marco and his team was an absolute pleasure. They were extremely communicative and knew exactly how to bring my vision to life. I wanted to replace my flimsy, non-compliant banister between my living room and stairwell with something sturdy and with storage, all while still fitting within the original aesthetic of my midcentury-modern home. They were able to work within my budget and provide an excellent and stunning result. I will definitely work with them again soon!

I have been through several contractors over the years and my experience has been varied. This year I was happy to have found Marco. Professional kept me informed pleasant to work with and did a quality job and quality cleanup that I have never seen before. I will be calling him again for the other projects I have left to do. He is a man of his words. Highly recommend.

Marco was very professional and communicative. He did exactly what we asked him to do and the work was great quality. We'd do work with him again and I'd recommend him to anyone else.

I hired Marco to assemble and install a 14x12 Yardistry gazebo. All the scheduling and pricing was done online without a single phone call. He came with two helpers early morning on the designated date and finished everything by 5pm on the same day. I was very happy with the job. Both him and his helpers were very friendly and professional.

Hired Marco to put together a gazebo in my back yard. He was prompt, communicated well, and was very organized. He and his crew were courteous and did a great job constructing the gazebo and totally cleaned up the site in the end. I couldn't have asked for more.

Marco is super responsive, he addressed all my questions thoroughly and timely over chat prior to the job started. He’s also very accommodating to scheduling and changes. Marco and his team were very professional, they arrived on time on the day of the installation, followed all covid protocol during the installation and clean up nicely afterwards. The team was also very efficient yet diligent, the installation was done a few hours less than the suggested time, and the gazebo installed was nice and sturdy. Highly recommended! We will Definitely hire them for future projects!

Motif Makers were the most professional contractors I have worked with since I purchased my home. They restored my faith in that “good help does exist these days”. For the specifics they: -were on time -even though they worked outside for 8+ hours they wore masks the entire time... not once did they take them off -were professional and treated me with respect -didn’t ask the same question twice... they paid attention to my needs -kept the job site clean and organized -extremely reasonable pricing for my project Huge kudos to their team - highly recommend you give them a chance for any of your home improvement needs.

Great job installing a 12x14 Gazebo in our backyard. Very professional and dedicated team. Would work with Marco and team again if something came up!

So glad we found Motif Makers to build and install our Costco Sojag Messina gazebo. They did a great job with 2 guys getting finished before the end of the day. They worked clean, left boxes neatly tied together for disposal, were super easy to work with and I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Marco was great to work with. I had a custom project I needed done and after discussing the project, I decided to also have him and his team install my kitchen counters, backsplash, sink, etc. as well. I had originally only wanted a custom island made but after speaking to him, I knew that I would be much happier having him do the whole project from start to finish. Marco was able to make a custom butcher block 10ft island and it came out great. His team is amazing, professional and worked with masks on even when demolishing my kitchen. Everyday they did a clean up and vacuumed leaving my house neat and cleaned up through the whole process. When I started my project, I realized early that there were a lot of moving parts. I was going to go with Lowe’s to do my counters, backsplash and sink but after further planning, it was a disaster. Lowe’s uses different people for each part of the job. The timeline was crazy and at the end of the day not worth it... they aren’t worried about making relationships with customers and only the job at-hand. I already knew what materials I wanted and purchased the counter and backsplash, sink, etc. Marco and his team did everything else from demolition and clean-up, to the final touches. Hard working honest people! Take my advice; don’t look for the cheap way when doing a project that increases your home value and the love of your home. Motif Makers (Marco) back their work and do a final walk-thru after the project is completed to make sure you are 100% happy with the final work. Marco responses promptly to text and emails, is friendly and professional and an honest, hardworking person. I look forward to working with him again for our next project in the backyard.

Motif Markers did an absolute amazing job on our fixer upper home. We had a horrible worn out lattice wood trim in the front of our house that needed replacing. Marco and company came in with great ideas and superb craftsmanship to turn our front exterior into the head turner of the neighborhood. Great communication, skill, punctuality, and flexibility...my wife and I highly recommended Motif Makers!
