Overall, this was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Mark does not own a moving truck and instead arrived with a rented U-Haul. What was even more surprising was that he did not bring any basic moving equipment. No dollies, no hand trucks, and no carts. After arriving about 10 minutes late, Mark and the second mover had to search the storage facility for a cart before they could even begin. I had been quoted $120 for the truck plus $150 per hour, and I agreed to those terms expecting a professional moving service. It took them approximately four hours to empty two 10x10 storage units. During that time, I even left with my baby to get lunch, and the pace still seemed unusually slow. Once the truck was loaded, I waited at my new apartment for nearly two hours, even though it was only about 6 miles away and a 10-minute drive. I eventually received a text from Mark claiming he could not cross the bridge because it was restricted to passenger vehicles. However, anyone who regularly drives a box truck should know to check truck routes before leaving. Mark also described himself as "local" to the area, which made the excuse even harder to understand. A local mover should know the proper truck route from New Jersey into Pennsylvania. The delay became so excessive that I honestly began to wonder whether they had simply driven off with my belongings. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. Throughout the unloading process, both movers complained constantly while carrying items into the apartment. They damaged several pieces of property, including a dresser and a bookshelf. They also stacked heavy boxes of books directly on top of my vinyl records despite the boxes being clearly labeled, "VINYL - DO NOT STACK ANYTHING ON TOP." That felt particularly disrespectful and careless. Most upsetting of all, they broke my Gardyn indoor growing system, which was extremely important to me and worth significantly more than what I paid for the move itself. To make matters worse, Mark would only accept payment through Zelle. He also instructed me to text him that I "needed some junk removal after the moving service." At the time, I did not understand why he wanted me to send that message, but after everything that had happened, I simply wanted him off the property and complied. In the end, I paid approximately $1,100 for a move that resulted in significant delays, poor planning, unprofessional conduct, and multiple damaged belongings. Several of the items that were broken are worth more than the cost of the move itself. This was an incredibly stressful and costly experience, and I genuinely wish I had chosen a different mover. I would not recommend Mark's services to others.
The boys did a good job. Communicated well. Took care of the furniture.
Please beware and don’t use Mark at All !!! Never seen such an unprofessional company in my life. They have no trucks or physical equipment. They rent everything and take jobs and confirm them. Then the day of the job if they can’t get a uhaul they cancel the job 30 mins before it starts. I hired Mike after reading the reviews for a white glove delivery. I told him it’s a sofa delivery and he needs 2 guys to do the install and haul away the trash. Delivery would take 20 mins tops. He told me $350 I agreed. The day before I hired him I called and texted him 4 times to confirm all is well and good no issues. He was polite and said yes sir don’t worry all good we do many white glove deliveries don’t worry. I sent my company driver to be there at 9-9:30 am. This is timing we agreed. Then Mike changed it to 10-10:30. The driver is paid hourly so mikes delay is already costing me money. I said it’s ok fine let’s get it done. At 9:30 I call him and ask eta what’s status of arrival. He won’t answer 8 calls. He responds text me only no calls. Then he said sorry my arrival is 11 am. I was upset and told him whats going on ? He said sorry it’s 2 hours away you have to wait. The address and information never changed so you should have left on time. Then 15 mins later he says sir uhaul has no truck so cancel the job !! Mind you this was set up from the day before and this guy never reserved the uhaul. As a business owner I tried to salvage the whole situation and got my truck driver to agree to haul away the trash for $100 and told mike listen driver will haul it away you dont a truck just bring 2 guys to unload. Since job changed do $250, he said no do $275. I agreed and said plz just hurry up we are very late. 25 mins later he sends me a text saying my guys say no pay us $350 original rate or cancel. This guy knew I am a bind and tried to extort me. He never even left to attempt to do the job. They are lazy and clueless have no business sense … I canceled him and found a better person on thumbtack. DONT USE THIS GUY !! He has no business sense and very unprofessional !!!

These young men were amazing! Very hard-working and efficient! They had a very difficult task of moving me to a third floor apartment with no elevator on a very warm day, and they never complained once. In fact, they were extremely polite and respectful!
They didn’t know how to disassemble furniture and ended moving only the sofa and left love seat without moving. They cribbed about every task and didn’t bring tools and they were completely unprepared. I ended paying them and have to hire someone else to complete the job.
Great experience! Highly recommend—everything was perfect.
