Milked the clock. Hired 2 guys, pretty much only 1 guy worked, took 7 hours to move a 1 bedroom and I moved a good amount myself. Took 2 breaks and 1 guy was on his phone every time I saw him.
Only things put together correctly was the bed and dining table. They were late, my stuffs thrown around all haphazardly, when I asked them to leave it took awhile and overall nightmare experience. Would not recommend.
Provide Clear, Concise, Communication in the planning and quote process of acquiring a new client for any service. Julia said she emailed me a quote multiple times. How did she have my email from the Thumbtack platform? Didn’t receive a quote. The price was higher by $10 and changed it to a date that wasn’t is high demand per their website. In addition, Move On, has my prior home and storage details which is vital for security and privacy. Checked again no quote.
Hired them for a couple of hours and they did an amazing job packing up a huge quantity of stuff! Everything was clearly labeled and we were really impressed they were able to help out with such a last minute request! 10/10 would hire again in a heartbeat!

I am just finished my move minutes ago. Yuri and Max were amazing from this morning until now. They never gave up when our couch needed creativity to get in the house! They made two stops for me at storage and were patient with me the whole day. I can’t say enough how nice and polite they are. We are very pleased and will be referring them to our friends. From the first moment I was contacted till the final payment - everything was so smooth, that I really enjoyed the whole process I expected some issues - as it always happened with moving stuff. But there were none this time. I have a shift in plans and need a delay in moving for 1 week and I had absolutely no struggle in coordinating this change request with MoveOn. This is what you call the customer-first approach! Movers were extremely fast and at the same time took all of the packages with care, always suggesting, that some of them will need a blanket, wrapper, etc. I literally did nothing but enjoyed the process. I highly recommend MoveOn! This is the best experience ever with the moving company. Zero stress, zero risk. PS: extra HUGE THANKS to Maxim and Idos for their awesome job!

I’m very happy to have gone with Move On for my move in Boston! Dmitriy and his coworker were amazing and made my moving day so easy. They were relatively affordable with cheaper rates than other companies I’d looked at, a little late though it was a large city moving day (I was their 3rd move of the day too) and they were very efficient, hard working, prepared with equipment to wrap my fragile larger moving pieces, and even fixed my furniture for me that I thought I’d damaged myself! They were great drivers in the North End’s narrow and crowded streets with their large moving truck and great at moving my things up and down multiple flights of stairs in both apartments, especially my Peloton. They were professional and kind. Very happy to have booked with them and will be booking through them again should I ever need to move again.
Update as of 3/21/2022 The owner Alex has worked with me and provided cash back on damages and now I am ok with that and hence updating the review. /******************/ STAY AWAY !!!! Please do not waste your time and money for this moving company. One of the worst I have ever encountered in my past 8 moves. This company will have you enter the inventory and will still send you a small non commercial truck for the move. Their truck will get full and your stuff will still be left behind and they will charge you for another trip then. Their movers will be very slow and keep talking rather than moving stuff. They smoke too in the same truck where your stuff is being kept and moved. If you are a non smoker and have kids then you will have to stay with the smell of smoke. I am writing this detailed review so any other people do not have to suffer as we did. It's a complete rip off. They damaged my two stuff and then was asking me to submit claim with their insurance and wait for the claim to be resolved for 5-7 months for reimbursement. After all hassle they provided me with 5% off which they were any how providing me with cash payment it's a lesson learnt for me that I should never ever go with these movers again.
They were very careful with my furnitures and no furnitures damaged! Nice people to talk with too! With the rate 89/hour, it was worth choosing them!
Great quality work and in addition put the furniture around at the new house based on their own decision because I had no idea how to place it the right way and it looks great! Hard working, responsible, respectful, patient guys and fast paced. Highly recommend!
The guys from move on were awesome. They really did a great job moving and packing up my stuff and we’re extremely efficient. Couldn’t be happier with their work. They really managed to Tetris my stuff into the unit!
