Save Your Money — Unprofessional, Overpriced, and Sloppy Work If you are looking for a reliable, skilled TV mounting service, look elsewhere. My experience with Mr Solutions was an absolute disaster from start to finish. He claims to be the most "professional" guy in the area, but his actions, attitude, and work quality proved otherwise. 1. Red Flag: Asking for Reviews Before the Job Before he even touched a tool or started mounting anything, he actually asked me for a review. Asking for a rating before proving you can even do the job was incredibly weird and an immediate warning sign of what was to come. 2. Ridiculous, Unjustified Pricing I’ve had TVs professionally mounted across multiple cities and states, and I have never paid more than $85. Mr Solutions tried to charge me $100 off the bat. When I talked him down based on standard local rates, his excuse for the inflated quote was that he is a "professional." 3. Zero Reliability or Manners That supposed professionalism disappeared on the day of my appointment. He was a total no-show for a time he set, forcing me to call him to find out where he was. When he finally arrived, his attitude was passive-aggressive and rude. I offered him a bottle of water to be hospitable, and he couldn't even manage a simple "thank you." He acted so childishly that his own son noticed and thanked me on his behalf. 4. Botched, Corner-Cutting "Work" The actual installation was a complete joke: They didn't even use the correct screws for my TV mount that I provided with over 60 options of screws. Instead of using proper hardware, they jammed two screws into one hole, leaving behind an ugly, botched hack-job that they tried to hide behind the TV. 5. Better Alternatives Exist His claims of being top-tier in this area are pure lies. Do yourself a favor and call Robbie with Extreme Visuals instead—he gave me a way better quote and delivers high-quality, actual professional work. How Mr Solutions Can Do Better: 1st Respect People's Time: Show up on time for appointments you scheduled, or at least call ahead if you're delayed. 2nd Earn Your Feedback: Stop begging for reviews before you even start working. Let the finished product earn the rating. 3rd***Fix the Attitude: Lose the passive-aggressive vibe, treat customers with basic courtesy, and learn basic manners when someone offers hospitality in their home. Do It Right the First Time: Use the proper hardware and stop cutting dangerous, ugly corners just to hide them behind a screen.
William in his crew came in at the last minute and provided exceptional demolition services to us when we needed a proven professional in the local market. Everyone of his crew members were professional and courteous offering to assist or takeover task that I was performing. With USA Mitigation being a high volume water damage restoration company we oftentimes look for assistance with subs in local markets, however we won’t have to look any further in the triangle area of Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange Texas. William and his company will be our first and last call.
Willie did a great job being punctual and responsive when we put in our request. He was efficient and built our Murphy bed as well as ensured it was anchored to the wall safely.
Nice guy, think he meant well but his installation of carpet on my stairs is not good. I'm just hoping it doesn't come up in a few months. I don't think he had any experience carpeting stairs and should have just told me that from the get go.
I was initially impressed with his responsiveness and quick availability. He provided an estimate right away and got to work right away. After the work started, he realized that additional work needed to happen. Which is fine. had there been clear communication. After he indicated that he was done, we received pictures from our tenant. The baseboards removed to put new laminate floor were not put back, the way the floor was poorly done and jagged. He had to get into the wall behind the toilet to fix an issue with the plumbing and put the sheet rock back that he cut out and said he was done. When we questioned him about the sloppiness of the work he said that wasn’t part of the original quote. And we said, but do you think this is something that should be left like this or that we would be OK with you leaving it like this. It is unprofessional. He became very defensive and treated us as if we were asking him to do work for free. In the end he went back and fixed the problems that remained but will never use this service again.
Contacted William on Sunday about a portable AC. Needed to get the window kit installed that allowed the AC to vent at my in-laws house. He contacted me back in less than 30 minutes, informing me he will call in the morning. He called as he said he would. I actually didn’t recognize his number initially and didn’t answer. He called back in a few minutes. He scheduled a time for 12:00 pm. He showed up on time and contacted me right away that he arrived. Immediately after the work was done, he sent a picture of the work that was completed. I would definitely use him again if my in-laws need more work done around their house.
Had a range hood installed. Little messy but was so amenable to following through with his commitment to do the job that I really didn’t mind cleaning up. Very pleasant and his helper was very friendly.
