Berthy is wonderful. She understands I am a novice and she’s very patient with her teaching.
Working with Mrs. Martinez was one of the best decisions I've made this year. It has always been my goal to make yoga a weekly and eventually a daily practice, along with Tai Chi and Reiki. She is the consummate professional, she is punctuation and most importantly she is knowledgeable and patient. I truly enjoy the variety she brings, every class is tailored and it's never boring. At the beginning of the week there is a theme or focus that she ties into the practice, so we are not just practicing poses for an hour. There is so much more to it than that. Also, she is affordable, which definitely helps, as I am on a fixed income.
Berthy is top of the top, bar none! She is always on time (she drives over an hour to get here). She spends more than the hour I paid for, teaching me this, that and the other. She appears to do research each week into those areas I need the most help with. She is extremely nice and explains what it is that we're about to do with such friendliness. She has the patience of Job with my "disability." I couldn't ask for a better teacher!

Berthie is a very well prepared and intuitive yoga teacher. She is calm and serene, and works with my personal challenges. She can do all types of yoga with me, restorative or power. We end the session with a guided meditation, which I love. She will bring all props for yoga, so you do not need anything for class. I am glad I have found a yoga teacher who will come to my house.
