I need to address several issues with yesterday’s move because, after looking around my new home and returning to my old home, it’s clear that our agreement was not fulfilled. I reviewed the quote, which stated up to 5 hours. I fully acknowledge that there was a 2-hour and 15-minute delay on my end, and I took responsibility for that by paying the additional $140. However, our agreement was for all of my belongings to be moved and for items such as the beds to be disassembled and reassembled. That did not happen. You personally came to my home beforehand and saw everything that needed to be moved. Therefore, the size of the truck that was rented was not within my control. You were aware of the amount of furniture and belongings I had and should have planned accordingly, including making multiple trips if necessary. At the beginning of the move it took approximately 3.5 hours to move only a portion of my belongings. Then the delay happened, when you both were able to resume There was about 30 minutes spent unloading items just to create additional room in the truck. Around 7:30–7:45 PM, you returned to the old house to retrieve the remaining items, but after approximately two hours, you returned without everything we had agreed would be moved. At that point the 5hours were spent with just loading the truck! At that point, the remainder of the move felt extremely rushed. Items were not placed where they belonged, and nothing was reassembled. My refrigerator was left outside in the rain, where it could potentially be damaged. My oven, washer, and dryer were left in the kitchen in a way that makes the area difficult to even walk through. You started with 3 men and ended with 2. Which of course going to make the time longer. Most concerning, none of the beds were reassembled, leaving my child and me sleeping on mattresses on the floor. My bed frame was also damaged—you even mentioned that it fell and that you heard a loud boom. My headboard is now cracked, and the sides appear as though they were pulled or ripped from the frame. I have pictures documenting the damage. I also returned to my old home and found several large items that were left behind despite being specifically discussed during our walkthrough, including two TVs, my desk, two large storage tubs, and an air-conditioning unit. These are not small items that I can simply move myself. I understand there was a delay on my end, and I accepted responsibility for that. However, I also expect you to take responsibility for the portion of our agreement that was not fulfilled. I paid for a moving service—not for half of my belongings to be moved, my furniture to be left unassembled, appliances to be improperly placed, items to be left outside in the rain, and agreed-upon belongings to remain at my old residence. I have pictures documenting the items left behind, the condition and placement of my belongings, and the damage. Please let me know what your plan is to rectify this situation, including retrieving the remaining items, properly reassembling my furniture, and addressing the damage to my bed frame.

Natural Helping Hands is a very professional business. We ran into a few hiccups on the day of, but they DEFINITELY came through and helped me in a huge way. Vince practically moved everything on his own, UP AND DOWN 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS, which was pretty impressive if I must say so myself.
