We had an amazing experience working with Nest Construction! They refinished our basement and built a deck, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were transparent, honest, and great to work with. The pricing was very fair, and the communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. The crew was thorough, paid attention to detail, and took pride in delivering high-quality work. It’s hard to find a contractor who checks all the boxes, but they absolutely did! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a stress-free experience. We would definitely use them again for future projects!

About Nest Construction
⭐️Top Rated Pro | Full Home & Bathroom Remodeling | Detail-Driven Team Welcome to nest Construction – where clean, detailed work meets reliability. I’m Gil, the owner, and for the past 8 years my team and I have been helping homeowners in the Louisville area with everything from small repairs to full remodels. We’ve been hired 200+ times on Thumbtack and maintain a 4.9★ rating because we treat every project like it’s our own home. Our main focus is larger projects – bathroom and kitchen remodels, laundry room makeovers, tile and flooring, drywall, trim and custom carpentry. We also handle fencing, painting and plumbing repairs, so you don’t have to juggle multiple contractors. One crew, start to finish. On every job we: • Protect your home and keep the workspace clean • Communicate clearly about schedule, options and budget • Provide written estimates with no surprises • Show up on time and finish the job the right way, not the fast way Whether you need a full bathroom remodel or a punch-list of smaller items, you’ll get the same professional service, fair pricing and respectful attitude. Send me a message with a few photos of your project, and we’ll schedule a quick on-site visit and clear estimate.

Had them do several jobs. Porch stairs and countertops.
Very detailed, responsive and overall good people.
Gil and his team did an excellent job remodeling two bathrooms for us. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and value we received via fair pricing. His team was friendly and hard working. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have remodeling work done!
We were having some leaking issue from our bathroom that concerned us, and when Gil came out he was fantastic! He responded quickly, came by the next day. He checked over the areas of concern and explained what the likely issue was (loose tiles/fixtures) and that it should be easy for us to fix (some grout/caulking) to prevent further leak damage. We also discussed our future remodeling projects for that bathroom and our basement, and I’m very excited to work with Nest again when that time comes.
Home solution was definitely a good choice that I made when I needed an electrician to come out to see what was going on with my breaker box…..they came out and evaluated to see what the problem was and the fee was very reasonable. His technician kept me informed before they did anything and even kept coming out when the problem kept existing until they found the main source. I definitely will be using them again without a doubt.
He was very sloppy, left a mess, and made ceiling look worse than before. Tried to contact before leaving this review to see if he would try to fix it and never replied.
Did a good job repairing the dryer vent will use again thank you
More than just a Handyman. Gil is analytically inclined and intense on doing a high quality result with his projects. His pricing is transparent and fair. The pictures reflect the Cedar T&G project which turned out very nice. I gave Gil 5 stars and will use him again.
Gil was extremely prompt, friendly and professional. Enjoyed talking with him. The project was completed to my expectation.
Gil was amazing!! He was honest and completed the work with a great turn out! Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for anything to do with carpentry!
Hired to patch holes and he did exactly that. I wanted to be sure we were on the same page and made sure “everything will look like new when done, correct?” And everything looked terrible. Also he basically scammed me for $300 for 45 mins of work. I could’ve did all this work myself for just a fraction of what I paid him.
This was absolutely the best experience I am so incredibly happy with my new mailbox it looks even better than I had hoped. Gil was a delight to work with. Very kind, friendly and professional, excellent communication. He works thoughtfully and expertly, the whole process was a breeze I could not be happier. Highly recommend!
Had a new mailbox installed and they did a great job. Would recommend.
