About NewPath Junk Removal
Owner-operated and insured, NewPath helps with furniture-only moves, heavy lifting, in-home rearranging, loading and unloading, and small local moves across Alexandria and nearby Northern Virginia. Best-fit jobs include moving 1–10 furniture items, couches and bedroom sets, condo or townhouse moves with stairs or elevators, marketplace pickups, and loading or unloading trucks, PODS, and storage units. I also handle household junk removal and cleanouts. Send photos when an item or access is hard to describe; otherwise, tell me what is moving and the pickup and delivery access. I’ll confirm the scope, price, and availability before scheduling, with no surprise add-ons. NewPath does not handle full-house moves, pianos, pool tables, safes, construction debris, or unsafe hoisting. You work directly with me from the first message through completion. Two movers: $295 for the first two hours of straightforward nearby labor-only help, then $150 per additional hour. Scope, access, travel and duration are reviewed before quoting. This covers in-home furniture moving or scoped loading/unloading of a truck or container you provide. You arrange and drive the vehicle and pay rental, mileage, fuel and coverage separately. It does not include a NewPath-provided truck, driving your truck or disposal. Stairs, heavy items, and any assembly or disassembly are assessed as part of the actual scope, not an automatic surcharge. Complex work may need a separate scoped price. For small moves with a NewPath-arranged truck, I quote the vehicle, travel and moving work separately from the labor-only offer and confirm one all-inclusive price before scheduling.

Great experience. Tackled a difficult move job with expertise and professionalism. Highly recommend.
Carlos was great! Very responsive, very professional, arrived right on time and completed the job efficiently. I will be using again for moving needs in the future. Highly recommend!
Carlos was a dream to work with. He was precise, punctual and communicated well. The move was more complicated than I anticipated but was exactly what Carlos had the foresight and experience to anticipate. Carlos and his staff worked hard throughout and came prepared. They took great care both of the items moved and the home being moved into. I really appreciate their professionalism, timeliness, communication, skill, diligence, & perseverance. I will choose Carlos and his team again when the occasion arises.
Carlos was a huge help in moving a very heavy table. Carlos is also extremely quick to reply and very friendly. I found a great deal for a dining room table and chairs. But the table was far heavier than expected. I contacted Carlos late in the evening (around 8pm) and asked if he could help the following day. Carlos responded almost immediately, asked great questions to assess how to tackle the job, and then completed it the following morning. Carlos did all of this with a smile, quick speed and efficiency, and with good advice for protecting the table and floors. I’d definitely recommend Carlos if you end up needing help with a complicated or heavy move!
Carlos from NewPath Junk Removal did an absolutely amazing job! Over the six months since moving into my new home, I had accumulated quite a few items that needed to be removed, and Carlos handled everything quickly and efficiently. He even went the extra mile by cleaning and organizing the garage area afterward—something I had been trying to get done for quite some time! 😊 Carlos was professional, friendly, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend Carlos and NewPath Junk Removal to anyone looking for dependable and high-quality junk removal services!
I cannot recommend Carlos and the NewPath team enough! He was responsive, punctual, courteous and professional. We asked NewPath to help us move my grandmother’s antique, heirloom dining room set into our home. Carlos treated the furniture as if it were his own, with the utmost care. I will definitely use them again and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who needs moving services!
Carlos was great to work with, he was able to help me finish my move with under 24 hours notice. Couldn’t have done it without him!
