About Nicholas Gallagher
I am a PTR certified tennis instructor who enjoys working with people of all skill levels. I have coached for numerous tennis clubs/academies, including Sunrise Tennis Academy, Delaware Valley Tennis Academy, Boca Pointe Country Club, Coral Ridge Country Club and Addison Reserve. I played college tennis for Kutztown University. I finished 2015 ranked #6 in the Middle States for men's Open Singles, and have won numerous Men's open tournaments. I also compete in mixed doubles USTA events, and just recently competed/qualified for mixed 8.0 and 9.0 Nationals in Tucson AZ. In 2011, I won a National Title as part of a USTA team. I was born in France and lived there for 14 years, and have dual citizenship. (France/US) My teaching style: I emphasize proper stroke technique, consistency and superior fitness. This translates to a lot of movement drills. I also emphasize mental strength/ability to focus as well as strategy. In a basic lesson with me, a player could expect to hit a lot of balls, both from the forehand and backhand side, some volleys/overheads and also spending some time on serves and return. I will focus on helping the student become consistent with these strokes before talking about adding power and being more aggressive. I take great pride in watching my students improve each and every lesson. I also really enjoy working with people who develop a passion for the game. I also know that tennis can be a great way to exercise and stay physically active. I have noticed the difference a few lessons can make in a person's fitness level. I have many more reviews available from past clients upon request! Please contact me with any questions, Nick

Nick is an outstanding tennis coach! As a beginner-intermediate player, I’ve seen huge improvements in my game thanks to his instruction—especially with my forehand, backhand, and footwork. He breaks down mechanics clearly and really knows how to help you level up your skills. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their game!
Nick is just an amazing coach and an even better person! You will love working with him and feel great about your game and yourself after! Truly 10/10 with Nick!
Provided great feedback, friendly and enjoyable coach.
He responded quite quickly. Have not started sessions with him yet as I am from out of town. Will start when I travel to Florida for vacations.
Nick is an excellent coach and I enjoyed my lesson with him. He is very knowledgeable and I learned many techniques. Will use him again!
Nicholas is punctual, professional and fun. We hired him to work with 4 girls (ages 8-11) once week in our neighborhood tennis court. The girls had a blast learning tennis with him. He made sure to keep the girls engaged in the game while learning.
