About Nick Home Improvement
Hi, I’m Nick. I provide professional handyman and home improvement services for homeowners in Naperville and the surrounding suburbs. I specialize in repairs, installations, carpentry, drywall, doors, trim, shelving, cabinets, painting, exterior repairs, and multi-project punch lists. If you have several projects around your home, I can often take care of them together instead of having to hire multiple contractors. I also take on larger home improvement projects that require more than just a quick repair. I focus on doing the job correctly, keeping the work area clean, communicating clearly, and completing projects efficiently. For an accurate estimate, send me photos and a description of everything you would like to have done. I’m happy to review the project and let you know the best way to approach it.

Great work and communication
Nick did a wonderful job on our Costco play set. We were under a bit of a time crunch and Nick was able to get everything done in one day! We would definitely recommend him and use him for future projects!
Nick was great. He installed a ceiling fan for me. Flexible about scheduling and punctual. Super fast service and professional.
I can’t rave enough about Nick! Hired him to do one ceiling fan, he ended up doing two, two electrical outlets as well as a lighting fixture. His price was more than fair. He was very punctual and very knowledgeable.
Nick was GREAT!
Nick was great. He installed our ceiling fan. Very clean and professional.
Very nice on time very fast and a great value the fans work great
Nick was great! He’s responded right away every time. He was accommodating to be available on short notice, he showed up when he said he would, installed privacy film on 4 large floor to ceiling windows. He was done when he said he would be, had the best prices, was professional, did the install exactly the way I asked him to, and even went above and beyond by picking up the package at a receiving facility for me. I will definitely be contacting him again for handyman work the next time something comes up. I highly recommend contacting him if you’re in need of a handyman in the Miami area!
Nick did a great job in helping replace a number of old water deteriorated boards on my wood deck and some other items. He did a great job and the job price was great. Thanks Nick!
Nick comes very prepared to the job and has his own tools and works very meticulously. he takes his Time, making sure everything is hung safely and level. I would highly recommend for hanging anything. He is definitely a handyman.
Installed 2 ceiling fans, was polite, clean and on time. I highly recommend Nick!
We were very happy with Nick and his work ethic. He showed up promptly and ready to work. Even when we had a small glitch with our component, he was able to troubleshoot and get us to a successful path. We will call Nick again in the future.
Nick was amazing! His communication was professional, he was on time to complete the job, and he installed my ceiling fan with ease! Great job Nick, I appreciate your handiwork!
I I chose Nick because I saw he had experience and pictures of his work in the past. But he really was better than my expectations. He also knew how to calculate the work needed done. I tell you this guy is a master in shelves installation and I don’t know what other work he does but if he does it as hanging shelves it’s got to be right with punctuality and quality. Thanks again Thumbtack you have not let me down With another quality worker.
Great experience…Nick was here 3 hours early…and did a great job installing my storm door! Thank you Nick..I will call in the future for more jobs 💯
This man stated he would be able to fix my floor. He tore the floor apart. Could not fix it and left me with a complete mess. I will never use this platform again.
I had an exceptional experience hiring Nick. I needed a bed frame assembled that I purchased online and after getting quotes and speaking with a few professionals, I went with Nick and I’m glad I did! He was prompt, responsive, professional, a good value, and was able to complete the task given less than ideal space. If I need any other handyman work, I’ll be reaching out to Nick:)
