About Nimna Perera
I have spent over two decades in the fields of academia and education to make my dreams come true. Along with the absolute joy of making dreams a fulfilling reality, I was rewarded with a sharp skill set in writing, editing, proofreading, and teaching. Whether you need content development, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, proofreading, APA formatting, or a human touch in your AI-generated piece, I can guarantee on-time delivery and a publishing-ready final copy. My bachelor’s degree is in English Linguistics and Literature, and my master’s is in Teaching English as a Second Language; that should give you a hint of how much I love reading :) What experience do I have in editing and proofreading? I have been working as an editor and a proofreader since 2014, contributing to a range of projects from high school and TOEFL/IELTS essays, scripts, manuscripts to Master’s/Ph.D. theses. What's my mission here? You are here because you need a hand in making your dream project come true. As someone who has been where you are now, I know what your project means to you. I am here to give your project the best of my skills and honest feedback so that you can reach your dreams a little easier.
Reviews
Nimna provided detailed and timely responses on a substantial document with substantial feedback and accurate edits as needed. Her responses were extremely beneficial and addressed the core elements of the document, only and always. I am greatly appreciative of her services.
Huge thank you to this amazing editor for working with me diligently in order to bring my manuscript to print. Nimna explained every step precisely from day one and throughout the editing process. She’s professional and you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Nimna’s responsive even with a 3 hour time difference and returned all edits in a timely manner based on our agreed-upon schedule. Nimna detailed each chapter with comments and suggestions that helped improve my manuscript and gave me the perspective from a reader/editor rather than the writers point of view. She corrected grammatical errors, removed or shortened run-on sentences, along with other corrections. While doing that she still made sure to keep my manuscript authentic, allowing my story to stay intact. This is book one of two that was edited and I plan on hiring Nimna again in the future. I would absolutely recommend hiring Nimna!
Excellent work on the English editing service. The revisions were clear, precise, and significantly improved the overall quality and readability of the document.
I am pleased to recommend Nimna for academic and freelance proofreading and typing work. Nimna provided excellent support on my paper, demonstrating strong attention to detail while correcting grammar, spelling, formatting, and clarity without altering the original meaning or scholarly tone. The final document was polished, well-organized, and professionally prepared for submission. Nimna worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and addressed revisions promptly and thoroughly. I would confidently recommend Nimna for academic employment opportunities as well as freelance proofreading and typing projects. Sincerely, Tammy
Nimna was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond on every part of my dissertation and her attention to detail is on another level. She caught things I never would have seen, cleaned up the entire document, and made everything fully aligned with the manual. She was professional, extremely responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the whole process. The final product looks incredible. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants high-quality editing from someone who truly cares about the work.
Work in progress at this time. All communications with Nimna have been very clear, concise, and professional.
Nimna is a wonderfull person, she definitely has plenty of insight in her domain. Would hire again.
Nimna did an incredible job on my manuscript evaluation! She provided so much value in a digestible way and I plan to hire her again for the editing services. Her ability to see the big picture is refreshing and I so look forward to working with her again:)
Thank you so much Nimna! This was a new experience for me and I surely told you that I would possibly need more help than the next person.. Nimna was gracious enough to take this challenge and I was so happy that she did, she helped me from the punctuations, to adding descriptions of people, to changing a complete sentence to make it sound better with a clearer understanding, I appreciate you so much and will look forward to submitting my next book to you. I also have to say thank you for your honest review of my work, I do believe that if it was bad you would had recommend that I don't do it. Again I say thanks..
