I contacted him and reached out, passed him all my personal information. I set him up as an accountant for my quick books. We had one Zoom meeting, which seemed pretty legit but then to my astonishment he just disappeared and never picked up my calls or followed up with me! He did some work but never finished. It's a very strange situation to be in!

I went back and forth with the IRS regarding some tax issues for a very grueling long while. It was very stressful. My former CPA made errors and she couldn’t correct it.
