I hired Nolasco Home Pro this fall to put on new vinyl siding for my home. It is a very large house so I knew it was going to be an expensive endeavor and that it would be very challenging to find a quality contractor at a reasonable price. I also had a tight timeline as I needed to beat the winter weather. After getting quotes from about a dozen companies, I ultimately settled on Nolasco Home Pro and have been extremely happy with my choice so far. Not only was Nolasco Home Pro very competitively priced, but the professionalism and responsiveness of the owner Dixon stood out. Unlike many I met with, he listened to what I needed done and didn’t try to upsell at all and was honest throughout the entire project. He was also the only general contractor I’ve ever had voluntarily offer to start a project early, and then still finish it early. Another thing I appreciated was that Dixon was out there himself, ensuring the work by his team was being done properly, and quickly solving any problems that arose to make sure it got done on time. I was so impressed that after they finished my siding, I immediately hired Nolasco Home Pro again for a roofing project I had.

Dixon and his crew did an amazing job on my house. I had a green asbestos siding house. They completely redid everything he redid my back porch and made a custom-made door for a rotted basement hobbit door. We could not be any happier.! they did an amazing job. He was very responsive very professional and they showed up every day to get the job done. I will definitely be using him for future projects. Before and after pics included.
I met with Dixon of Nolasco Home Pro in May 2022. When I met with Dixon in May he gave me a quote and I let him know I received two other quotes. He told me I didn’t need a permit and the work would take 1 week. The next day I go over my quotes and I decide to move forward with Nolasco based on the reviews on Thumbtack and the photos of his work. He came to my home again with his contract and said we would now need a permit so the amount he originally quoted changed. I agreed to move forward and I signed the contract on June 3 and gave him a 30% deposit so the work can be started asap per his instruction. He then told me the permit should only take a week or so and then they will start working. Two weeks go by and I contact him to check the status and he says he will contact “the guy” to see what’s taking so long. Another week passes and I call him again and he says “the guy” is still waiting. He calls me on June 16 and says there is a problem, the permit office said your job is xyz dollars and I’m charging you this. I said why do they care what you are charging me. Are you asking for more money? He says no I’m just telling you. In my mind I didn’t understand why he would misquote me when this is the work he does. Two weeks go by and I contact him again and he said, I will contact “the guy” to see. Finally I take matters into my own hands and contact the permit office myself to see the status. The inspector told me they only need the workers comp info and the designs and they could issue it right away. I call Dixon to let him know and he says I will call “the guy” and call you back. It’s a Friday and I didn’t receive a call back. I call him Monday and I ask him is it all set now and he mentions “the guy” again. I finally say who is this guy. He said I had to have someone else get the permit because I have too many jobs. I said but are you the one doing the work. He says yes. Another week goes by, and I call again. He said “the guy” will come by. He comes by and I finally meet “the guy” who is Santos. He says I will start the work tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and know one shows up. I call Dixon who then tells me Santos is at city hall to see about the permit and that they needed that to do the work. Frustrated because it is now over a month and they claimed they would be started. A few more weeks pass and I call Dixon requesting my deposit back and told him I wanted him to do the work and he has now subcontracted me to someone else. It’s been months and still no permit. He apologized and said that Santos works for him and everything will be fine. He refused to give me my money back so I felt like I need to be patient and move forward and just wait for the permit. Finally on September 13, 2022 the permit is issued. They tell me we will be at your house next week. They showed up a week later and completed demolition of the old porch in one day. At that time Santos asked for an additional $5k to get materials. I was hopeful everything was moving in the right direction. Days go by and no one shows up. The following week they showed up and get in two days of work. Then another week goes by and they only come one day. I contact both Dixon and Santos to ask why they were not showing up for work. Santos stated he would be there the next day and they did not show. We are now approaching week 3 and at this point my frustration is heightened because I have now paid over half for the work that was not being completed in the time frame we discussed. I contact Dixon and I tell him that they need to finish the work and come the next day to do some work. The next day comes and no one shows up. I decided to call Dixon again and text him to find out that he has blocked me and my boyfriends phone number. Finally I contact my lawyer! My lawyer contacts him and of course he answers. She instructs him that he is in breach of his contract by one subcontracting the project without my knowledge, changes in price and time frame. After their discussion I finally hear from Dixon and he ask for photos of the progress of the porch and he will now be taking over and will come the next day. He shows up and finally my porch is being worked on and he is starting to communicate. My porch was finally complete on Nov 2 (4 months). This company is unethical and they lack communication. I would not recommend them! In the end the work turned out good but I went through HELL! Do not use Nolasco if you do not want to deal with a headache. Poor service!
Nolasco Home Pro gave a very competitive quote for removal of old singles and installation of vinyl siding and trim. Dixon and his crew showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up and completed the job to my satisfaction. I am extremely pleased with the final results and would hire again.
I had a little addition that needed trim and vinyl installation. Dixon did a beautiful professional job. Top quality work and a nice cleanup. I highly recommend him.
Dixon and his hard working crew made this happen fast, with precision and quality. The best way to add to this review would be to explain just how happy my wife (The Boss) is after seeing the results on time as promised. She may not see the perfect dovetail of joints, but she doesn't have to - they are seemless anyway. Their cleanup was above and beyond, better than they found it. Dixon and his team did a great job on the house! He worked fairly and fast. He also removed a shed we had in the back. Their estimate was very competitive. He communicated well and stuck to his word. I would recommend him to anyone!
Nolasco Home Pro completely transformed the exterior of our sun room. They replaced the rotted wood siding with brand new vinyl, added window sills, and wrapped and insulated the frame around the windows. Work was done promptly and the price was very fair. Highly recommended.

Pleasant experience working with Dixon and his crew. After accepting a fair quote to replace asphalt shingles on the house and shed, the work was scheduled and then completed very quickly in 1 day! We're happy with the results....the roof looks great.
In the middle of this pandemic- my roof started leaking. After doing research I reached out to Dixon @ Nolasco home pro. He called me right back and was able to do the job in less than a week. His team was professional . I would highly recommend this company, for big or small jobs.
Very unreliable with communication. Did not return calls appropriately or communicate progress of requested contract. We ended up going with another vender that didn’t show. We called Nolasco back 2 days later to see if he would still take the job. He responded it would cost us an extra $100.00. He tried to hustle us for another $100.00 because we addressed his lack of timely communication and attempted to go with another vender. He’s trash. Low moral compass.
