Reviews
I hired Northwest Flooring to remove paint and refinish the floors in our older house. They were very knowledgeable about fir flooring (which is soft), and took a lot of care while sanding, removing the spindles on the staircase to get everything smooth and even. The team kept everything tidy and gave clear instructions on how to keep everything looking great. (the "after" pictures are after 1-2 coats of finish, and they applied three)
Vlad did an amazing job refinishing my pine floors, would highly recommend him for anyone seeking an expert for their hardwood floors.
Hire them. I did deep research, received three quotes, and decided to go through with them. I am a very strict, good value, great quality home fixer whom does majority of the fixing up myself. At a GREAT value, they took floor that others said was “not worth fixing“ and made them a masterpiece. The other companies either didn’t want to do the work and instead recommended replacing the floor, or would do the work but at 3X the cost. The floor is Douglas fir (1901 home) with the medley of complications: painted, stained/Swedish finish, unfinished, oil, spot, gaps, splintering boards, vent holes, and creaky. They patched the two inactive vent holes, replaced 14 boards (reclaimed wood, Ballard Reuse), stain, buffed, topcoat. I will recommend them till my dying breath.
Vlad and team did an excellent job from start to finish and we ended up with beautifully refinished wood floors. They helped us choose a stain, advised us on how to prepare and started and finished on time. I highly recommend them. They’re passionate about what they do and it shows.
Just moved into a new home that had extremely scuffed floors and I reached out to Northwest Flooring LLC and they got back to me very quickly. They came gave us a quote and helped us through the process to choose some stains etc. Couldn't be happier with how the floors turned out and they were great to work with the whole time.
★★★★★ 22 hours ago I am so happy with the impeccable work from Northwest Flooring. They removed existing carpet and laminate, and they installed solid hardwood throughout my home. Volod and his team did incredible work, and they even finished early! Throughout the process, Volod was so friendly and professional. I greatly appreciated his prompt and friendly communication. I got several quotes, and Northwest Flooring’s price was by far the best. I would absolutely do business with Northwest Flooring again! I recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you, Volod and team!
Vlad and his crew were exceptional! They replaced carpet on our second floor with hardwood and it’s absolutely beautiful. He and his crew are extremely hardworking and very skilled. The project exceeded our expectations. If you need hardwood flooring, you have to hire Northwest Flooring! We will be calling again once we are ready to do our main floor.
Northwest Flooring with Volodymyr did an incredible job with my floors, made them look new at 1/3 of the cost others were quoting me. Oh and they finished ahead of schedule. Vlod and team were incredible and the quality of their work is outstanding
Serhii from Northwest flooring and his team did an excellent job installing my new flooring. They are very professional. He was so patient with me, as the flooring I ordered was wrong size and we discovered it the morning of the appointment. But he waited until I got the correct ordered and got the job done promptly. The whole installation process was seamless. Their cost was also most reasonable compared to all quotes I received from other vendors. I will highly recommend them to others looking for a flooring job
Sergey was a great professional. Extremely helpful and hard working. He communicated well and was fair in his pricing and his work was far above average, he and his team did a wonderful job!
Vlad and his crew did an exceptional job installing new hardwood floors in my kitchen after a water leak. They refinished all of the floors in my house and the result is incredible! Vlad is a true professional. They took great care to mitigate dust and he was a fantastic communicator. If you need new flooring installed or wood floors refinished, you can’t go wrong. Excellent work!
Vlad did superior work on a water stain we had on our wood floor. He responded quickly and confidently; when other specialists said they couldn’t fix just the area we needed, Vlad could. They arrived perfectly when they said they would and did the work quicker than anticipated. Vlad was very communicative along the way and we would definitely hire them again!
They replaced the subfloor below my toilet. They did a great job and were able to schedule and complete the work within about 48 hours. Would definitely recommend these guys.
Great experience with Vlad and his team! My floor looks perfect! And price was the best!
I'm very happy I chose Vlad and his crew to replace my floor. When we first started talking about the project, they offered helpful recommendations that enabled us to choose the appropriate floor type. Additionally, they addressed every worry we had before the job began. They shown tremendous ownership by finishing the entire floor remodeling project in just two days, which is outstanding in my opinion. I greatly value their commitment and heartily endorse them to the Thumbtack readership.
Very responsive, professional, friendly, and their work is fantastic!
We recently bought an older home which had three different sections of hardwood floor with a bumpy transition to each and few places with heavy water damage. We reached out to Northwest Flooring LLC and they responded immediately to come and provide a quote. They were on time the next day and explained us the material used in different flooring in our house and how to get everything to same color. They provided with a very reasonable quote for the project and once we agreed they started the work the next day at 8 am. They were very professional being on time and they covered the whole kitchen area before they started any work. They removed the transition and place a wood to make everything smooth as a single level of floor. They replaced all water damaged wood from the floors and matched everything perfect that it seemed nothing ever happened. They moved all the appliances out and refinished our whole ground floor and stairs and hallway upstairs. They explained to us at every level of the work they did and were very humble and professional accommodating our requests. Once they were all sanded and filled, they showed us options for the look and feel for the finish. We chose the Bona Nordic Seal with a Satin finish which turned out so beautiful and smooth the way we wanted it to be. A big shoutout to Vlad and his team who made all this happen in a very short time and with a very high quality. I highly recommend them for any flooring work you all need and I myself will call them for their service in future. Thank you Vlad!
