I called yesterday for a last minute pickup but was unable to get the transaction completed before closing.BTA worked with me to get scheduled for today. This is how fast BTA gets the job done; I called at 3:09 & Lamar was at the site of pickup by 5pm. He alone…flawlessly moved a 3 piece U shaped couch set to my place and did a phenomonal job! BEWARE very sketchy business. As you can see in the photos, a price was agreed-upon when they responded however when they got to my home, they argued that it was supposed to be only one floor only although my message is very clear that it is two floors. They left without completing the job. Don't waste your time with them.
I needed help moving a “new” empty 75 gallon glass aquarium tank that I had just uncrated from my garage onto the wooden aquarium tank stand in my house. The aquarium tank is 4 feet long, 2 feet high and weighed 100 pounds “empty” sitting in a wooden crate about 6 inches off the ground. Being glass it was obviously fragile but also needed to be kept level to avoid any unneeded flexing of the tank to ensure its structural integrity. I put out a request in Thumbtack and immediately heard from Lamar of “Better Than Average Moving” who was able to come out with another worker that afternoon and they were able to carefully lift my glass aquarium tank basically off the floor and move it from my garage to the aquarium stand in my house with “no” issues - this was a great help to me as this custom aquarium tank had been “successfully” shipped across the country and I wanted to make sure it made it to its stand safely within my house which Lamar and “Better Than Average Moving” did - very professional and carefully.
Lamar was FAST , effective, and very polite!!! Packed my 1bedroom apartment in 2 hours. 10/10 recommend!!

Don’t cancel on your customer 5 minutes before you’re supposed to show up, after already delaying 45 min from the scheduled move time.
