Notes From Neptune has been playing music all over the valley for the past nine years. Scott Worstell is a guitarist of 30 years. Nylon string guitar is his preferred instrument. While playing some essence of classical and flamenco for the nylon string guitar he mixes in styles of pop, rock and jazz. On top of that, Scott also has a unique vocal sound you can't miss. With a little mix of raspy yet classic smooth sound he sings many styles such as Sting, Pink Floyd and Harry Connick Jr. being some of his biggest influences. Thomas Love is a Saxophonist of 30 years. Alto sax is his most comfortable sax. But he does play Soprano and Bari sax. With the gospel styles of Kirk Whalum and the jazz styles of Stanley Turrentine in his background, he uses his sax as a voice and when you hear his sax it really speaks to you on a soulful level. Claude Lakey Mouthpieces decided to have Thomas as a Endorser. But not only because he plays a great sax but Thomas brings a different element to the table. He also sings. But not only does he sing, but "He Can SANG!" With a smooth and warm voice combined with his jazzy, gospel, spiritual sax, it’s a perfect combination. Singing the styles of Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Ed Sheeren and Prince. Together they make up the band Notes From Neptune. Playing as a duo or a full band, this is what it feels like to jump on a rocket and blast off for a space journey where for a few hours your leave all your cares behind and close your eyes and and see music completely different than anything your seen and heard before. They take songs you know, and songs that you've never heard of and allow you hear them for the first time all over again. You rarely get a chance to experience and even re-experience music the way Notes From Neptune plays it. It's like reimagining music. I know once you hear it you will love it and also wonder what galaxy of music you will enter next.

We truly can’t say enough great things about NFN! We hired them for our intimate wedding, and they were an absolute hit—our guests are still talking about them. Before the wedding, my husband and I would go out of our way to catch their performances around town, so by the time our big day arrived, we had already built a wonderful relationship with Thomas. Thomas and the entire band are incredibly talented, and the saxophone takes their performance to the next level (especially for that classy, romantic, twinkly, sophisticated setting). From the start, Thomas was professional, flexible, and genuinely invested in making our wedding special. He worked with our budget, offered valuable guidance thanks to his extensive wedding experience, and went above and beyond when unexpected rain became an issue—he even built a platform to protect their equipment. NFN brought amazing energy, exceptional musicianship, and so much fun to our celebration. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made, and we’d recommend them to anyone looking for unforgettable live music. We adore Thomas and the crew and honestly feel like we’ve made friends for life!

Thomas and the NFN members were incredible! I hosted a 3 hour corporate event at a nice outdoor venue and NFN was the perfect touch to the evening. I originally hired them as nice background music to accompany my guests during cocktail hour and dinner. This wasn’t a dancing group or event but some people couldn’t help but move their feet! Also, the elevator was unexpectedly not working in the venue and they had to carry their equipment up several flights of stairs. They handled it professionally, without complaint, and managed to still get set up on time! Very great to work with and amazing music. 10/10 would recommend!
They were AMAZING!!! We absolutely LOVED their professionalism, songs, ability to meet our style and were so easy going and great to work. HIGHLY recommend!! We'll be using them again for sure.
