Avoid this company at all costs! I hired Eder to repair two leaking windows at my home. He provided a quote for $2,350 to replace the windows and gave a two week lead time for the window delivery. I agreed to the service and paid a $800 deposit. After two weeks, Eder had not contacted me, so I reached out to him to check on the status of the windows and my invoice that was never sent. He did not respond. I tried contacting him for three more days through Thumbtack and on his personal number via Zelle (deposit payment). At that point, I realized that he was ghosting me and I filed a claim with Thumbtack. Eventually, I was able to contact his partner Saul on his personal number who said Eder did not receive any of my calls/messages although we had no issues communicating before I paid the deposit. In addition to that, he said there was an issue with the window delivery and it would take another two weeks to install the windows. I told Saul that I wanted my deposit refunded because if Eder can't communicate delays then I can't trust him to work on my house. He understood my frustration and said that Eder would return my deposit on Saturday. I did not receive my deposit on Saturday and Saul did not reply to my message. On Tuesday (today), Thumbtack said Eder had 24 hours to send the refund or their account would be deactivated from the platform. If I could give 0 stars I would. Gave an appointment time of 10 am and didn’t show up. Didn’t pick the call and responded to text at 12 saying running late and will show up at 2:30pm and never showed up. Wouldn’t rely on someone who does that for even starting a job.
Team was absolutely phenomenal. Great communication throughout. Quoted me a price that was significantly lower than other quotes that I had gotten. Followed through with that quote. Communicated clearly in terms of scheduling. The two guys that came out here were super knowledgeable, super effective. We were able to get the job done. Very quickly and professionally, the job looks great. I could not say better things about this. This was an absolute top-notch experience, very much appreciated.
