We have had a couple of other contractors from other companies come to give an estimate and a number of things that Sam did made him stand head and shoulders above the others. We had a water leak that cause damage both inside our manufactured home and in the subfloor of the crawlspace. Sam was the only contractor that climbed in the crawlspace to get a good view of the damage. The others just poked their heads in the crawlspace without climbing under the house and could not see what they had to do from that far away. The minute Sam climbed in the crawlspace, both my husband and I were impressed by him. He also was calm, listened well, measured and wrote info into his phone to record all that needed to be done. (Another contractor from a different company didn't write one thing down and his estimate was missing a bunch of things that needed repair). Sam gave us the BEST impression of the contractors that came to our house to do an estimate. Update: Sam came to view our damage just before the weekend and already provided us a written estimate on Monday morning. The estimate accurately included a list of all of the work that we needed done. No other company was as thorough and professional as Sam. Thank you!!!

About Oak Design and Build
Our Passion is Connection We have been impacted over the years with the client-contractor experience that honestly feels pretty grey and vague to us. We have seen that communication feels unclear, the process feels unorganized, and the financial plan leaves a client feeling anxious and stretched thin. We offer a better way. Oak Design & Build was birthed out of a desire to provide a client experience and a curated design and build product, that promotes trust and connection with our clients. We provide spaces that foster clear communication about our process and a helping hand from our team through all of the design & build details. We provide safe design spaces that inspire our clients to share the creative dreams and practical needs that deeply shape the finished product. We provide interior and exterior spaces for connection that are built from connection. We want you to leave your time with us feeling respected, thoroughly satisfied with your design & build experience, and deeply excited about your new space.

Great experience!!
Sam and his crew rebuilt the back exterior and interior wall of our house after water damage. They did an amazing job! They were incredibly thorough, extremely professional, and were very reasonably priced. If I ever need a contractor again, I’m calling Blue Oak!
Sam was able to start sooner than expected and finished faster than projected. He didn’t mind sharing some tips and didn’t talk down to me like I didn’t know anything. Polite, punctual, professional.
