About Oleg Handyman
My primary focus is electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. I also handle plumbing repairs and a wide range of general handyman services. I take pride in reliable, high-quality workmanship, clear communication, and finding the right solution instead of taking shortcuts. I'll always be upfront about what a job requires and whether it's something I can properly take care of.
Reviews
I am setting up an airbnb and needed someone that could do a lot of things. I put a post on thumbtack at night, and amazingly Oleg contacted me the next morning, saying he'd like to come take a look at what I needed done. He reviewed my list and walked the house, saying he could do all I asked, and the best part was he wrote everything down in a notebook. I loved that because he took notes on what I needed. Then we booked an appointment for him to come back the next day. On the day of the job, Oleg really saved me by completing everything on my list, even going and getting parts I was missing. But the BEST part about Oleg is how organized he is. When he brings in his tools, wow it is so cool to see how tidy and organized he keeps his screws, fasteners, tools, etc. I was very impressed to see that, I even asked if I could take a picture. The one downside is he smells like cigarette smoke. He is from Belarus I'm guessing they smoke more there. But overall Oleg did a great job for me -- everything from installing ring cameras and doorbells, curtains, fixing furniture, touch up paint, anchoring furniture to the wall, etc -- and I will definitely hire him again.
I have had a front yard lamp pole that has not worked in 15 years. Figured it been cut when they put the new sprinkling system in back then. I told Oleg where I thought the break might be. He was able to determine that not only was it not where I thought it was. It was nowhere near where he found it and he found not one but two breaks and repaired them. Very pleased with his work!
Oleg was quick to respond and handled the project with ease. Will hire him again.
Oleg saved our bacon when an Airbnb guest bashed open an interior door and broke the door frame while we were 7,000 miles away in Italy. We only had two days of vacancy between guests to do the work, and he somehow got it done in less than one. We placed a lot of trust in him with door codes to or house to do the work. You can trust Oleg with your next project, we definitely will! 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oleg did a fantastic job installing handrails in our shower. The tile remains intact, no cracks, because of his skills. He was quick to respond to my request for the job, picked up and communicated the cost of materials, and talked me through the project. He was kind a respectful. I would definitely request his services again and recommend him to friends.
Oleg went into the attic the fix the vent fan at over 95 degrees without a complain. An honest handyman with a very reasonable price. He respected his client’s house. He is also very knowledgeable about the electrical work. Highly recommend him for projects in the house.
Oleg took on this project that other contractors did not know how to do. I have an old tree trunk with carvings that was rotted at the base that was leaning and at risk for falling soon. Oleg straightened it up and secured the base permanently in concrete. I have another unique problem that he is willing to do next. Will update as we make progress
Oleg was great! He put together a tv console in about 90 minutes. Even took the boxes and trash out to the dumpster after.
Oleg was amazing! He was willing to schedule next day for a project I desperately needed help with. I ordered a tree shelf and heard from the reviews they were very difficult to install. The hardware that was sent by the company was not correct, and Oleg came up with a solution that was secure and looked great. He worked quickly and demonstrated he knew his stuff at every step of the process. I already have another project in mind for him… two big thumbs up. Thanks Oleg!
