Teaching is my passion. Many performers teach on the side, but do not have the skills or training to understand how to teach effectively. I am an experienced performer, but I also have trained in music education and coaching so that I can consistently offer my students the tools they need to accomplish their goals. I help with technique, repertoire choices, musicality, and theory, and I provide all of these resources to my students at an affordable price. Unlike other schools, I am extremely flexible with scheduling, and offer group classes. Furthermore, I am an active performer who can give real time advice about the musical world in New York City. I love helping people discover their voice! It is so rewarding to watch students grow, and learn about talents they never knew that they had. I've been taking lessons with Olivia for six months now, and highly recommend her to anybody interested in voice lessons. As a complete beginner I was definitely outside of my comfort zone, but Olivia mixes theory and practical basics in a way that is not intimidating at all.
