He had appointment with me at 2pm. At 2:10 pm when he didn’t show up, I texted him. He said he was at my home and no answer. We checked our Nest Camera which verified he was here at 1:30 and only waited for 45 seconds then left. He didn’t text me at all. You don’t show up earlier or later than your appointment time. Very unprofessional and tells a lot about their work ethic.

I loved working with Mike. He responded quickly and he was very thorough in his explanations and pricing, which was very competitive... and his work was amazing. He measured one day and then came back to rip out my old countertops and install my new ones and my new sink all within 2 1/2 hours... I'm so happy!
Mike did an excellent job! I was a little reserved initially at the beginning of the project due to the language barrier. A Russian translator app helped out for both parties when needed. I certainly recommend him based on my experience. I would hire him again. I'm a very meticulous/detailed oriented person and his work surpassed my expectations. The most important key is I don't usually write reviews, so for me to write this one should serve as a key indicator of how well he and his son did with the installation. My wife and I are well satisfied customers.
We cannot recommend Onyx Stonework enough! We hired them to install new granite countertops in our kitchenette with a matching granite countertop for our dated fireplace. From the very first consultation, Mike was professional, knowledgeable and very accurate with measurements. On installation day, Mike and his crew were very careful bringing the heavy material into our home and took great care not to damage cabinets, walls, or floors. Their attention to detail was remarkable—the cuts around our kitchen sink and cooktop were spot-on, and on the fireplace, they ensured all the grain flowed in the same direction for a cohesive, custom look. You genuinely cannot see the seams! They cleaned up every speck of dust before they left. If you are looking for a company that combines beautiful craftsmanship with honesty, fair pricing, care and top-tier service, look no further. We will definitely be recommending them to our family and friends.
he was very responsive and followed through with any requests or promises. he did a great job with all the cuts and installments on countertop. final result looked great! just had to use Google translate several times, but it was not a bother.
Mike did an excellent job. Highly recommend!
Mike showed up quickly at my house, performed complicated tasks having to do with some kitchen remodeling adjustments under my sink and then some other basics are around the house, was in and out in about an hour, and I’m happy to give him a cheerful review recommending his services. Mike does not speak fluent English, so you do have to use a phone translator, but I am getting used to that here on Thumbtack services.
