You've selected the perfect dress and the perfect cake! Now it's time to select a beautiful soundtrack for your special day. Orchid River Strings is a string quartet based in Fayetteville, NC. We play primarily for weddings, but we also love playing for birthday parties, luncheons, churches, business events, and art shows. If you would prefer a duo or trio please let us know. We look forward to being a part of your special day! Our primary goal is to make your wedding music beautiful and special. We work with clients to select the perfect music for their ceremony. We also provide relaxing and elegant background music for cocktail hours, receptions, luncheons, art shows, or parties.

All around excellent job. Charles was super helpful in working with us to choose our wedding music, and the violin/cello duet sounded great. I highly recommend them if you want string musicians for your wedding.

Charles was great, every step of the way was seamless, the music was beautiful he accommodated where we needed him. Part of the event was outside in the hot humid weather and he did not even skip a beat. I highly recommend him and we will definitely book him again for our next event. It was wonderful working with Peggy. She truly was experienced and helped bring life to my big day. If I could do it all over again I would select her to be my violinist. She was so nice and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend. We got so many compliments on the music choices and how well she played.
Orchid River Strings played at our wedding in Chapel Hill, NC, and it was wonderful! Peggy was great to work with, and she played both contemporary and classic songs of our choosing (and even a Disney song). She helped us pick the right order for the prelude, processional, and recessional, and was prompt and professional on the day of the ceremony. The songs sounded great, and the sound of Orchid River Strings was the perfect accompaniment to our ceremony. Would definitely recommend.
