Eduardo and his Dad are top notch! Old school craftsmanship paired with punctuality and professionalism...a winning combination! This is the second time I've used them, and couldn't be happier--they rebuilt a crumbling knee wall, tuckpointed and power washed my entire house, patched the wall in my basement entryway, and executed my 'artistic' design on the front porch with new porcelain pavers with great panache and workmanship. Recommended them to my next door neighbors, who also were very happy with their work. Any future jobs that come up...they're my guys!
Ortiz Construction responded quickly, came out to look at needed repairs, answered my questions about the brick repair, gave a reasonable cost estimate, scheduled the repair day, work was done quickly and professionally. I was totally happy with the completed brick repairs at my home.
Never showed up for the work to be done. As soon as I asked for a completion date (I gave him a month to complete chimney repair he said would take 2 days) and asked for a warranty on the cap for the top of chimney (i figured a year was ok) he bailed. Keeps saying he's coming. 2 months now. Guess it's easier to do work when no one asks questions. Responded he has been sick. Fair enough. But I will say weeks of "will call in a little bit" never happened including the last couple of days. A quick email or text "I'm not able to do the work" would have been the way to go..... We wish you a very speedy recovery as we have said in direct emails and hope your business continues to grow.
This review is long overdue. I was so stressed trying to get my tuckpointing done. I called this father and son duo and they were done within a day. My entire house was tuckpointed and ready for the winter. 5/5 stars I recommend completely.
Very responsive and was able to get the job done quickly. Quality of work looks impeccable. Would HIGHLY recommend.
