We hired Geo for wedding videography. The terms were as follows: 2 videographers, Aerial footage, 4-6 minute highlight video, 40 minute or more full feature wedding video, delivered 2-6 months after the date of the wedding. The pros: Geo was funny and helped us feel at ease. My husband and I are photographers and I dabbled in videography and editing before - so we are both used to being on the other side of the camera - we were nervous and Geo helped us feel more comfortable. His style is to tell you what to do - walk here, kiss there, twirl here - and he does his thing. If you like some of his sample highlight videos, you will like yours as they are the same style. He already knows what cool angles and tricks he’s going to use for his highlight videos, making it more efficient. Geo delivered our video exactly the day before the 6 month deadline. The Cons: We watched the highlight video (about 7 minutes) right away and we liked it very much - very professional quality. Here are the cons: our full feature video was an hour long and disappointing. Several very important scenes neglected to include some crucial parts - for example: My husband and I spent many hours and funds taking dance lessons, therefore, as you can imagine, our first dance was very important to us. The video was filmed on a tripod and showed my husband and I waist up (when dancing professionally the movement of your feet is very important) and there are moments when we are not shown at all since the camera person was not paying attention as we moved out of the frame. Another example: the highlight video demonstrates a few seconds of my bouquet toss, where you see only me in the frame then it switches to a different wider angle showing the single ladies jumping to catch it. In the full feature video - you see me - waist up - throwing the bouquet outside of the frame to nothing, never showing what’s happening around me. There were a few other scenes like this that either showed a wall or only a small part of what was going on. At the very end, a camera on a tripod shows the dance floor with guests dancing for 10 minutes in no particularly interesting way. In conclusion: the full feature video mostly includes only one camera angle regardless of the quality of the shot or whether or not it includes the full scene. I thought perhaps Geo had rushed through trying to finish our full feature video and ran out of time therefore didn’t realize these scenes were in that condition. I wrote to him asking about it and he requested I send him the scenes so he could correct them. I did this within a day. I texted him a couple weeks later to check in - no response. I texted him a few more separate times after that - no response. I texted him a month later - no response. I gave him the benefit of the doubt wondering if he was on vacation or something else - and at this point I am not sure what else to think except that he has decided not to make the changes and ignore my follow ups. I waited for the final video before leaving a review as I wanted it to be as accurate a review as possible to allow you to make your own decision. I think it is safe to assume this is the final video I will be receiving as I haven’t received any responses or follow ups from Geo which is the worse con of all. If he declined to make any of the changes I requested, I would have been more okay with that - nothing in his contract guarantees your satisfaction. If you go with Geo for videography - know you are paying that large sum for a 7 minute highlight video and you won’t be disappointed.

Geo did an amazing job with our engagement session photos! He is extremely talented at his craft, very comfortable to work with and also very flexible with timelines. Not to mention he is affordable! What more can you ask for honestly? He was always offering to accommodate our schedule which was really refreshing and appreciated. Another nice thing about Geo as a photographer is he really listened to our requests. When we told him a few locations we wanted pictures taken and a specific pose or two we wanted captured, he made sure they happened. He also is very creative and great at creating the perfect (& unique) picture and poses all on his own (if you have no suggestions in mind and are looking for someone who can take care of that for you). I highly recommend Geo if you are looking for a photographer!
My son and his fiancé really enjoyed working with Geo! When I asked why he said he was easy going, friendly yet professional at the same time. I really like him for many reasons, I had to change location last second and it didn't phase him in the least. The range of his photography is amazing (we only have a few back) but they go from dramatic to soft and sweet. Great guy and very talentated photographer!
Geo , was terrific from beginning to end. We cannot say enough about him and his work . We will definitely use him again .
Perfect timing, perfect set up! What a wonderful idea for all events. They were patient. Kids and adults had a blast. And I liked how Geo consulted with me a few days before the communion, just to make sure that we were on the same page. I will definitely pass on this wonderful experience to a lot of my friends. Thanks to Geo and crew it wouldn't have been a great party without the photo booth. Best, Emma
