About ParagonCA
Bathroom Remodeling Done Right — From What’s Behind the Tile to the Final Finish If you’re investing in a bathroom remodel, you deserve more than something that simply looks good when the job is finished. You need it built correctly behind the walls, properly waterproofed, and finished with attention to detail. I’m Antonio Topete Diaz, owner of ParagonCA and a California licensed contractor specializing in bathroom remodeling, tile installation, shower construction, and water-damage reconstruction. My work includes: • Complete bathroom remodels • Tub-to-shower conversions • Walk-in and custom tile showers • Shower and bathroom waterproofing • Bathroom tile floors and walls • Water-damaged bathroom reconstruction • Aging-in-place and accessibility upgrades • Repairs involving failed showers, leaking waterproofing, and damaged substrates Why homeowners hire ParagonCA Bathrooms are one of the most technically demanding areas of a home. A beautiful tile installation means very little if the waterproofing, shower pan, drainage, substrate, plumbing penetrations, or preparation underneath it were done incorrectly. This is an area I take seriously. I specialize not only in building and remodeling bathrooms, but also in diagnosing and reconstructing bathrooms that failed because they were not built correctly the first time. That experience changes the way I approach a new remodel. I pay attention to what you’ll see when the project is finished — but I’m equally concerned with everything you’ll never see again once the walls and tile are installed. A More Personal Remodeling Experience When you contact ParagonCA, you’re not dealing with a salesperson who disappears after the contract is signed. I personally evaluate projects, discuss your goals and options with you, and remain involved throughout the work. I’ll give you straightforward recommendations based on your bathroom, your priorities, and what makes sense for the home. I believe homeowners should understand what they’re paying for and why. Whether you want to completely transform an outdated bathroom, replace a tub with a beautiful walk-in shower, or rebuild a bathroom that has suffered water damage, I’d be happy to take a look at your project. Reviews
We hired ParagonCA to come out and do our master bathroom. Before choosing them, we met with and received quotes from a number of companies, but once we met Tony, we knew this was the right person that we could trust to do the job. This mentality persisted throughout the entire project as his team was profession, prompt and did great work. They weren't the cheapest option we found, but they were comparable and for us, we cared about the quality of our project as we had a number of things that we wanted. As you can see from the image below, everything came out great! We love our new bathroom, thanks Tony and team!
Tony with ParagonCA was nothing but prompt and professional. His team did a magnificent job on our bathroom. The floors turned out better than I ever thought. He managed to squeeze us in and get all the work done quickly and beautifully. Would highly recommend.
We are absolutely in love with you new shower tile and floors. I received a quick response and quote within a day. Tony and Arturo were great. They were punctual and very detailed in their work. I would 100% use them again in the future.
Tony and his team were excellent. They were readily available. The team was punctual and cleaned up after themselves. We already had the tile so it was just a matter of waterproofing and installation. They did wonderful and were done in 2 days. Very impressed!
Tony and his crew were amazing to work with. They are absolutely professional and the work they did was flawless. They were there when they said they would be and completed the work without any hang ups. Tony was very responsive and oversaw every step of the project. He was upfront and honest with us and helped guide us on some decisions we needed to make. Everyone was friendly and highly skilled. I would not consider working with anyone else on a future project!
They did an incredible job! We are SO pleased with the work they did! They were quick, efficient, helpful, punctual, respectful and hardworking! They made our dream bathroom come to life! You’d be crazy to go with anyone but them! Extremely detailed oriented! We could go on and on! If you’re looking for a tile installer, Tony and Arturo are the guys for you! Thank you, again, so much! We are so happy with how everything turned out!
I hired Tony back on the 11th of March. He was quick to respond and was able to come to my house that night to give me an estimate to tile my bathroom shower and floors. He did an amazing job and was very professional. He always made sure to ask me if I had any questions or concerns while he was doing the job and let me know what the best materials I needed for the tile work. He was very attentive and punctual. He was very good with attention to detail and he went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely hire him again.
Tony was great. He was quick to respond and did an excellent job. Plus he finished early. I will definitely be using him again for any upcoming projects
Tony was great to work with , he did a tile backsplash in our kitchen in Monte Rio . He was very pleasant to work with , we discussed the design and price and he got to work. I had the tile on site so the job moved quickly and he was done in two days. His work was great and his prices are very competitive. I would highly recommend Tony for tile work.
