Very unacceptable. Brad scheduled his man, Ricky, to come and fix the nail holes and patches on the ceiling for $350 on yesterday at 11am, Ricky showed up late at 12:30, said it was miscommunication and the job was too much for $350, so we finally agreed on $400. He then did the job half way through and left to buy “tools”. 3 hours later he finally came back said he didn’t feel well because he ate something at a fast food place, but he still filled some holes on the wall, he said the white marks were not completely dry, he’ll come back the next day at 10am, sand and paint them. I waited for him the whole morning today, Ricky was no-show, so I called him, he said he messed up the schedule and he’ll come back tomorrow morning. Till this point, I’m not confident that he’s gonna be here on time due to the fact that he was always late or disappear for hours, so to make sure he will come back tomorrow, I called Brad. Brad promised me to call me back when re-scheduled with Ricky. Guess what? Brad just called me back 20 minutes ago, said that they have done the job they quoted, Ricky will not finish the job unless I pay them another extra few bucks. Now my walls are left with marks and patches.
would highly recommend! Brian did a great job with hanging the drywall and sanding, and the wall looks good as new!! Brad K was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire quoting and job process. next time i need drywall work, will definitely be using them again! thanks for everything.
I wouldn’t even bother with this company. Dude wouldn’t even look at me and was super rude then changed my quote I already received to much higher. He got to my house and saw how big it was and decided to up charge me, what a loser company.
Punctual and thorough review of my space, allowed him to give an estimate on project.
We didn’t use but was very prompt and nice with quote.
The quote was fast and D’Andre did a fabulous job. The work it’s top notch and quick! I’m thoroughly satisfied. Thank you!
Oscar, the Patch King Drywall Repair rep who did my job, is a great guy, very professional. Grateful to him.
BEWARE!!! Not dependable!! The guy they sent out to give me an estimate did not know what he was doing at all. Told me he had to send someone else out. All I needed was drywall hung on studs. I had done all my demo. Then he told me he could take some measurements and pictures and would give it to his crew. He seemed confused. It’s been a week and I have heard nothing back from them.
Easy communication and work executed professionally. Would hire again
Quoted me $500 for an extremely small job. They said that they have a minimum of $400. So unless you have a very big drywall job, I'd stay away from these guys.
Good work and friendly installer. Positive experience
The contractor Ron was prompt. Provided fair estimate. Work is beautiful. I was so excited to have the drywall and trim completed! Wonderful job!!! Definitely will hire again!
From start to finish my experience with Patch King was excellent! Convenient, stress free and transparent + fair pricing! From the outset, I was amazed at the responsiveness and customer focused approach. In fact, from the time I initially made contact to when I had a confirmed date/time and price estimate was less than 18 hours! On the day of, Todd A. showed up on time and got right down to business. Resulting in a perfect looking wall in a single afternoon following the installation/relocation of several light fixtures earlier this week. Truly above and beyond, Todd even helped me figure out and then carefully worked around the brand new light fixtures that I was struggling to determine how to remove the glass! They did a fantastic job cleaning up - no mess, no garbage from this effort! Combine that with fair transparent and fair pricing and... I highly recommend Patch King and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Todd and team!
I definitely recommend Patch King. They did a great job.
The job looks good
I hired Patch King through the Thumbtack app. I i had originally asked for seam repair and finishing work in a 4'x5' half bath (the smallest room in my home)when another contractor left me stranded (hired through Home Advisors). After speaking to Ken, we determined that a better solution was to remove the existing down to the studs and skim coat the cieling (I performed these tasks). Patch King was to puck up the drywall from Home Depot, hang the new drywall, and mud and tape the seams including to the skim coated ceiling. On day one, the one man crew spent the entire day hanging the drywall, no mudding or seams were done. The expectation was that a 20 minute mud would be used on day 2 which would allow the seams and mudding to be done in the same day. On day two, the installer was joined by an apprentice. They worked a full day on the seams and sanding. But acknowledged that there was still finishing work required to finish it to satisfaction. On day 3, the apprentice showed up alone with the expectation that he would only need 1-2 hours of finishing. After inspecting the work, there were visible waves of high spots, a brand new switch was stuck off from mud being dropped on it, and the light fixture was mudded over. Ken came over and inspected it with me. We decided that the apprentice would put more 20 minute mud on the waves and return the next day to finish. On day 4 the apprentice came alone and spent and hour sanding the previous fay's work. I was unable to inspect before he left. Ken called me asking me to pay for the additional time spent by the apprentice at the same rate.he charges for the installer. I declined since my invoice for the work that was done was already $1100 for the smallest room in my house and the rework was caused by the original sub par work of his installer. I'm relieved that I didn't pay for that work since the walls are still not completed to professional standards. In the picture attached a seam wasn't even touched, there are still waves in the seams in the ceilings, and several areas on the walls are not smooth. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the quality of the work. I would not recommend Patch King for any work of any kind. My experience could not have gone any worse.
Our original estimate included 16 hrs of drywall work. Due to it being a structural issue Patch King did not do any of that work so I think charging $1450 to paint a bedroom & bath is outrageous. Although many issues were fixed there are still areas in need of touch up. Should not of had to clean a large amount of paint out of shower, off of bathroom sink, & cabinet. Would not recommend or rehire.
