Dark Barbie did my hair and makeup, she did an excellent job for a wedding I was attending. She ironed my freaky hair straight and did a great foundation, she did not make my makeup look heavy. Excellent, happy I found her as I'm from California. Highly recommend.

I decided to splurge on getting my hair and makeup done for my birthday this year on very short notice. I found Glam Squad on Thumbtack and they happened to have an opening that worked perfectly. I went to their beautiful studio in Vancouver and had the best time with Jamie, who really brought my vision to life! I felt beautiful on my birthday and am so thankful!

Hands down best hair dresser I’ve met here in Portland. Super cool, laid back and very comfortable to talk to/be around. She made the extra effort and came to me on short notice and turned me into a bad b**** lol she has a regular customer from here on out. Jamie helped me incorporate my sisters headband that she wore for her wedding into the 1920's style i wanted. She also did a great job on my makeup, perfectly smoky eyes and bright red lips. She even applied the makeup as to even out my one lazy eyelid. I was looking for finger waves and she is one of the very few that can do that.

Jaime was very accommodating for coming to us to do our daughter's hair and make up for her senior prom. She gave her a beautiful hairdo and the makeup really put her look together completely. Would come back again for our next glamour need.

Jamie is wonderful. I had perhaps an unusual request to learn the right way to apply everyday makeup. I found Jamie, through this app. Jamie was prompt with communication and we were able to set up a convenient time. Jamie is knowledgeable and unassuming. She guided me through basic techniques, watched and provided gentle correction when I tired the techniques myself. I also learned that Jamie has her own line of makeup and her business provides other services I plan to use in the future (specifically, laser hair removal).
