About Perry's Handyman Services
Hi my name is Perry Van Soest. I have been living in Santa Barbara working on my family's avocado orchard for the past 3 years, before that I had working for my step-father's painting company in Manhattan Beach since I was a teenager. While I am most experienced in painting and everything associated with that trade, my other skills involve plumbing, drywall repair, mounting tv's, hanging pictures, basic carpentry, demolition, basic electrical, junk removal, pressure washing, driveway resealing, landscaping, small machine maintenance, RV maintenance, furniture assembly and repair, and I own a wide variety of tools.
Reviews
Perry was professional and responsive in assembly of a TV stand and computer desk along with hanging of a TV.

I needed some furniture assembled on short notice. Perry responded to my inquiry and questions immediately. Gave me a very fair quote. Showed up on time and got the job done quickly. Very happy
On a Saturday afternoon, Perry responded to our inquiry within an hour and met with us at the location to discuss the assistance needed just as swiftly. He provided options and an estimate of cost, as well as a time frame for beginning and completing the project. Perry exceeded expectations! Our project was done ahead of schedule, and without disruption to our office’s operations. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Perry’s Handyman Services!
Excellent workmanship, provided suggestions for future work

If you have to use a Handyman Service, I would only use Thumbtack. The others appear intransparent as to what you pay and/or you do not pay the Handyman directly. Within Thumbtack, I recommend Perry: hardworking, smart, efficient .
Well I was surprise Perry didn't bring wood glue with him. He saw what needed to be done with the pictures he brought. I also wanted a receipt for the work and some kind of guarantee it would last more than a month. He said he would come back to repair it if it didn't hold up.
Helped me within an hour with an issue with my front door latch. Highly recommend!
Perry was professional and quick to complete the job.
Will use again
I will use Perry again in the future
