I contacted Pete through thumbtack. He got back to me the same day and was able to come and seal my roof the next day. I thought I was going to need a new roof, but he told me I didn't. I really appreciated his honesty because I wouldn't have known the difference. It's refreshing to know there are still people out there who won't take advantage of you. His communication was great and he did what he said he was going to do and finished the job in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Peter's roofing.

I hired Pete's Roofing about five months ago to repair a leak on my metal roof. Initially, I was impressed. Pete was responsive, arrived quickly, and seemed committed to fixing the problem. Unfortunately, the products used did not resolve the leak. Since the original repair, Pete has returned three separate times to address the same issue. While I appreciated his efforts and willingness to come back, the leak continues and has never been permanently fixed. The work was backed by a 5-year guarantee, which was one of the reasons I hired him. However, despite multiple repair attempts, the problem remains unresolved. More concerning, my recent calls and messages have gone unanswered, and it appears I have been ghosted. At this point, I would like Pete to honor his guarantee by either permanently fixing the leak or providing a refund. Good communication and standing behind your work are just as important as the repair itself. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service until these issues are addressed.
I had a warranty with my original roofer, and he ended up fixing our roof at no charge. However, Pete was extremely responsive to my original request and very professional and polite. I would recommend him and I would use him in the future!

hired PETE’S ROOFING to repair a roof leak and initially had a great impression. Pete responded promptly, visited the site the same day, and assured me the issue would be fixed the following day. He showed up on time and completed the job as promised. However, after the next storm, the leak returned. He came back, acknowledged that something may have been missed, and attempted another repair. Unfortunately, another storm came, and the leak persisted—this time even worse. He returned again and said the problem wasn’t the roof but likely the stucco or possibly the window. He applied sealant to those areas. After yet another storm, the leak still wasn’t resolved. He came back once more and applied a thick black tar-like substance across the front of the roof. Not only did this fail to fully address the issue, but it also left my roof looking severely damaged and unsightly. I’m now concerned that this cosmetic damage could affect my homeowner’s insurance coverage or possible claim if God Forbid we get a hurricane or damages. While He was polite and responsive throughout, I believe it is unprofessional to take on a job that you are not fully equipped to complete properly. Charging $1,950 for repeated failed repairs and leaving my home in worse visual condition is unacceptable. I am currently waiting for the next storm to assess whether the leak has finally been resolved. If not, I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charge due to incomplete and unsatisfactory service.
Pete apparently had a family emergency and no-showed on the day of the requested appointment. I’m sympathetic to this but was a little frustrated with the lack of communication on his end. Just sucks because I intentionally took time off work to have this appointment and nothing ever came of it. Regardless Pete has not followed through with me as of this time of the review. Will update this if he ever gets back to me.

I had a leak under a deck on a flat roof. Pete provided two bids based on what might be found after the deck was removed. His team arrived on schedule and after removing the deck told me that the cheaper option (an overlay rather than full replacement) would be sufficient. The work was completed that day and is warranted for 10 years. They did a great job. Highly recommended.
Pete is the best, my roof was leaking and even with previous repairs it was still leaking. He came out on his day off to check it out and gave me an estimate. The job was done in 1 day and the kept me updated throughout until they were done. They were not only professional, they removed all the debris and cleaned up after.
