Paula impressed us with her professionalism, skill, and kindness. She responded quickly to texts and sent us a message when she was on her way. We knew we were in great hands when she arrived with her own light and chair for my daughter in addition to her other supplies. We were in a time crunch, but Paula remained calm and got to work quickly preparing my daughter for her senior prom. She listened well to her and checked in with her often, making any adjustments easily and without hesitation. It was fascinating watching her pull item after item from her bag and use them with such skill. Paula suggested a hairstyle for my daughter, and it complimented her makeup and dress beautifully. Paula is doing what she loves, and it shows. We recommend her highly!

WOW WOW WOW!!!! Palak and her lovely assistant came to my home to give me an UP-DO hairstyle for a special event. I couldn't possibly give her enough stars, but here are some highlights... PURE ELEGANCE My hair turned out even MORE beautiful than the example picture I sent. I got so many compliments throughout the evening of my event. ARTISTIC EXPERTISE When Palak came to my home, she had suggestions & pictures ready of styles that would also work with my hair, styles that I hadn't even thought of. GREAT LISTENER I told Palak my problem areas and where I am comfortable with my features. She took in all my feedback and worked WITH me. VERY NATURAL She used minimal product. My hair didn't look fake, plastic, or crunchy - just my natural hair. HOLD POWER My hair stayed PERFECT all night long. I didn't have to fuss or mess with it. It's now 2 days later and have slept 2 full nights on it - it's actually holding in kind of a cute-messy-wispy look. Still loving it!! UPLIFTING & POSITIVE I'm my own worst enemy about my looks & presentation being "good enough". Both Palak & her assistant were so uplifting and complimentary, it was nice to have other females rooting for you and giving you a vote of confidence before heading out for the night. It's exactly what I needed. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION Palak responded right away when I contacted her through Thumbtack. She asked the right questions, asked for pictures, she checked-in the day before & morning of my event. NO STRESS She came to my home which reduced my stress level 10-fold. It was so much easier getting ready in my own home. VALUE Compared to other stylists on Thumbtack, her pricing is very reasonable. She was straight forward with her fee structure & payment methods. She is super easy to work with, and communicative with no surprises. BONUS - MY FEMALE ADVISORY TEAM I was on the fence about what dress to wear. Both Palak & her assistant helped me decide (and they were SO right). Plus they helped me zip-up, adjust, and do all the things you wish you had sisters for. BONUS - PALAK DOES MAKEUP TOO Although I didn't need my makeup done, it's clear she loves what she does and really knows her craft. She's an expert! BONUS - WE HAD A GREAT TIME! They were here less than 2 hours, but I wish they could have stayed longer. We laughed & chatted the whole time, and I truly enjoyed myself :) SHOULD YOU?? Oh my goodness, YES YOU SHOULD!! I wish Palak could do my hair & make up everyday - instead I will cross my fingers and hope she is available next time I have something special come up.

I was so thrilled that Palak could do my make-up and hair for my sister’s wedding renewal. She was so responsive when I reached out at the last minute which really meant a lot to me. She was punctual which was awesome because I was on a time crunch. She listened so well to my concerns because I have super sensitive eyes and skin. Ive been working with Palak to prep for my wedding and she has been nothing short of amazing. She is warm, professional, very responsive, a great listener, and most importantly, super patient!
