I was worried about signs of algae in my pool that had just been serviced by someone else. Pool Protection came out quickly and Ray had the problem taken care of in a flash. Ray was polite and took time to do a thorough job for me. I am now happy to be a new customer with Pool Protection!

Although we exchanged multiple messages through Thumbtack, agreed on scope of work, price and appointment date/time, I had to call them when they were 15 minutes late and found out that they normally don't service my area and couldn't find a technician to come to my house. I even received and confirmed a reminder that morning.
These folks started off services great, spending time to attention and detail. However services have deteriorated, with them. 1 mth ago just before the holiday the pool was cloudy and with green algae setting in because they had not been scrubbing the tile. They fixed it but now they are spending less than 5 minutes during service. They have been asking for me to get a new filter, which i did. They came, serviced the pool and left without even touching the filter. I texted them, and am still waiting on their return
They go far and beyond their scope of work. They are punctual and extremely affordable. I was looking for a pool company and others quoted me higher prices. I decided to go with them and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend this company. They are great!

Poor communication. Texted me pictures of my pool with little or no description or what was done or added. Got some pictures of a leak somewhere but no help on how to fix. This is the latest picture of our pool. Photo with the filter is for the first service 1 month ago (much better color) when we were doing this ourselves.
Our saltwater pool was very green as we didn't have anytime to continue with pool maintenance. They came over as soon as they could and did a phenomenal job cleaning our pool would absolutely recommend!
I contacted this company to clean and maintain my pool on a house I was selling and they made promises three different times and never showed up at any point. They never followed up with me and I had to send consecutive messages to them just to get them to respond. I did not get to experience the quality of their work, so I won’t speak to that, but neither the customer service or professionalism were up to par.
