Chris was very pleasant to work with. He was quick to respond when I was ghosted by another DJ and had only 2 days to find a new one. His communication was great, and his pricing was very fair. We will definitely keep Portable Playlist in mind for future events.

I strive to provide the environment and atmosphere that every event/party needs. I can cover about any genre, Current Top 40 Pop and Country, 70s and 80s Classic Rock, 90s Alt, Old School Hip Hop, Oldies from the 50s and forward. everything from The Beatles to Metallica. Over 45,000 files in my library at last count. Your event can be, and by all means should be, customized to exactly what you and your guests are wanting. As a Live musician for the greater part of my life, music vibe just comes naturally to me. I love seeing the clients and their guests having fun. Nothing like cueing the next song and seeing, and in some cases hearing the crowds reaction. When I see the dance floor full throughout the night, I know I've done my job.

He came checked out how the evening was planned, said what he would do and could provide. The night of the event did exactly what was arranged plus more flawlessly. Will definitely hire again.
Chris with Portable Playlist was fantastic. We hired him for our company picnic and he showed up early, had a quick setup and kept a great, up-beat playlist playing for the entire event. We will for sure bring him back for the next event we host. He was extremely professional and made the process of hiring a DJ seamless and easy.
Chris was an amazing DJ. He always answers emails quickly during the planning process. On our wedding day he arrived early and worked great with the staff the venue to set up for the ceremony and reception. Our ceremony spot had to move due to storms but Chris was flexible and still had everything ready on time. He did a great job keeping the party going and even announced our shoe game for us. I am very glad I choose Chris! He was great and was very affordable.
Chris DJ'd our wedding and he was extremely friendly and easy to work with. We met one time to go over the general plan for the wedding, then corresponded by email. We were able to share what music we wanted using Spotify, which was super convenient. Also hard to beat the price! We would recommend Chris for your next big party.
Can't say enough about Chris and Portable Playlist! He did the DJ duties for our daughter's wedding including the ceremony and the reception. From the first contact communication was outstanding. He made sure he understood everything we needed/wanted. His response was fast and all our questions were answered. The venue was a bit of a drive but he was available and ready the evening before. Professional all the way! Pricing was super reasonable and clear from the start. As an added bonus, Chris is a nice guy and easy to work with! Highly recommend!!!

Chris did an amazing job at my wedding. He played exactly what we wanted him too and made sure everyone had a great time. My family isn’t big dancers but by the end of the night everyone was having a great time. His prices were one of the best I found and it was definitely worth it!
Although we had a good experience with Chris, when we entered the wedding venue he said "Mr and Mrs Christensen" instead of OUR last name "Mr and Mrs Christenberry". Guests faces were like, who is Christenses? This was a huge disappointment as we cannot take this moment back and the videographer will have to "hide" this special moment from our wedding video. We appreciate the good value.
