My mistake was paying up front. Devaunte came an inspected my HVAC unit and told me I had blockage due to renovations in the house and dust build up. I paid him $795 to clean the unit and recharge the Freon because it was low. Not even 48 hours later the compressor failed and I have him come back out to take a look. He quoted me another $4800 for the compressor and left without fixing. I had 4 other companies come out and look and they all stated the compressor failed due to unbalanced Freon levels. 3/4 companies guessed (without and prior context) that a “younger guy had come by and packed too much Freon in the system” which is exactly what happened. On top of this, he capped off some old ducts and when he did he cut a duct that was active. I asked for a refund on the labor and offered to cover his materials cost in lieu of leaving a review but he declined. Very nice kid but stay away and go with a company with more experience or you will likely come out of pocket to fix repairs caused by Devaunte.

Primal provided us with exceptional service. Before they came we had an estimate for twice what they charged us. They were extremely professional and our air conditioner works better than it ever has. They fully explained what was wrong with the unit and provided service the next day. We lived in a hot, uncomfortable house for more than a week, so I can't tell you how thankful we are for a cool, comfortable house. We are happy with the quality of the service and would highly recommend them.
Devante was the technician that replaced the heating system inducer. He was professional, polite, thorough and showed me what he was going to replace, why it needed to be done and then made sure it was working by checking the heating system inducer coming from the several vents. He is probably the most knowledgeable AC/Heating technician I have ever used. He is the gold standard for quality craftsmanship! I will definitely use Primal in the future to do my annual system check and any other repairs that need to be done!
Our heat went out right before a threatened winter storm and Devaunte from Primal HVAC came through for us in the best way. He responded immediately, arrived quickly, and had our heat back on before the temperatures dropped. They were absolutely amazing. We had an issue with our brand new HVAC that the installing company couldn’t figure out. After being so frustrated with the original company I reached out to others through here. They answered within minutes, said they could be here next day (Sunday), and diagnosed and fixed the issue in under a hour. Would highly, highly recommend.
