BEWARE of this company; would give 0 stars if that were an option. We hired Prime Cleaning to clean the walls, baseboards, trim, and two small bathrooms in our approx 1500 sq ft house after getting hardwoods refinished and prior to getting photos taken for a real estate listing. To generate the estimate there were limited options that did not quite reflect what we were looking for. Given this, we filled things out based on the preset criteria and what we thought to be a fair representation of the state of the house and job to be performed (I.e. we selected the “pets” option, as a representation of what we felt was a fair comp to having dust on baseboards and trim from the refinishing). We then had a phone conversation with them in which we discussed the fact that the floors would be immaculate, and that the job was to clean the dust that had been left behind, including on the baseboards, the tops of the trim and windows, on the walls and then to clean the two small bathrooms. The house was empty so there was no furniture or rugs to work around, making the job easier than a typical home where you may be moving those items to clean the rooms. The work was quoted at $400, which seemed reasonable for the project. The employee came as discussed and we have camera video of a single person arriving and leaving in the span of less than 1.5 hours ($240/hour?). The “hourly rate" would not have been a problem or relevant if the work was to a satisfactory level. However, when we reviewed it, it was obvious that the only thing that had been cleaned was the windows interior and perhaps some of the baseboards, although a handful of those were quite dirty as well. The shower was scummy in both bathrooms and the tile had clearly not been cleaned. There was dust on top of all of the trim, the walls had not been cleaned, and mirrors in the bathrooms were left dirty. We were initially very willing to compromise on a payment amount that would be mutually fair, but the employee and owner were very uncooperative and accusatory. The employee then had the owner call my wife and his tenor of communication was absolutely appalling, bordering on abusive. He was extremely rude, berated and yelled at her for almost 10 minutes, and didn't take a sliver of accountability for any of the work being poor quality, hastily completed, or the project being misunderstood. My wife and I have long-standing relationships with just about every contractor and tradesperson we have ever worked with and respect and appreciate that these lines of work are very difficult, so we always try to be cooperative and respectful. We have also had great success with pros we found on Thumbtack. However, this was unquestionably the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I would never recommend this company to anyone—they did poor quality work for a ridiculously high per-hour price and treat their customers like they are completely disposable.

Prime cleaning gave us quality work. We were satisfied with their service. They did a great job with our garage which was very clustered and dirtied by the previous owner.
