I really did not want to write this review. I have used ProMen Movers three times in the last two years. My first two moves were excellent. I had the same foreman both times, my belongings were handled professionally, and those experiences are exactly why I trusted this company with my move again. Unfortunately, my third move was a completely different experience. This move had a different foreman, and from the moment I saw how my belongings had been loaded into the truck, I was concerned. Items appeared to have simply been thrown in rather than carefully packed and secured. A delicate lamp that I have owned and kept in mint condition for approximately 20 years was damaged during the move. The damage, however, is not what prompted this review. After unpacking, I discovered that a significant number of my belongings never made it to my new apartment. Among the missing items are my Hoyt 75th Anniversary compound bow, expensive gold beard trimmers, shoes, clothing, and an entire collection of hoodies I had accumulated from different places and experiences over the years. Most painful of all is a Maglite flashlight my father gave me decades ago. My father has passed away. I kept that flashlight all these years because it came from him. Its monetary value is insignificant compared with its value to me, and it simply cannot be replaced. The same is true of several of the hoodies. Some commemorate places I have been and experiences in my life. I can buy another sweatshirt; I cannot replace those sweatshirts. I want to be very clear that I am not accusing anyone of stealing my property. In fact, given the assortment of things that disappeared, I do not believe that is what happened. My concern is that my belongings were handled carelessly and that something went wrong during the packing, loading, transport, or unloading process. I contacted the foreman shortly after the move when I first realized things were missing. I then deliberately waited before escalating the issue because I wanted to completely unpack and search both apartments several times before saying that the movers had lost anything. The company’s initial explanation was that the foreman remembered putting my bow in a “vacuum cleaner box.” The problem is that there never was a vacuum cleaner box. My vacuum was never packed or moved; it remained leaning against the wall at my old apartment. The explanation was subsequently changed to the bow possibly having been placed in another box. At this point I have completely unpacked everything, and the missing belongings are simply not here. I do want to give the owner credit. He has been responsive, has said he has no reason to doubt what I am telling him, and has offered to come with the foreman to help look for the missing items. I appreciate that, and this review is not intended to suggest otherwise. But ultimately, I hired a professional moving company because I trusted them to get my belongings from one home to another safely. Some of my property was damaged, and a substantial amount of it never arrived. What makes this particularly difficult is that this isn’t primarily about money. A claim might replace a pair of shoes, a set of clippers, or even compensate for an expensive bow. It cannot replace something my father gave me decades ago. It cannot recreate sentimental items I collected through different periods of my life. After two excellent moves, I trusted this company enough to hire them a third time without hesitation. That’s what makes this experience so disappointing. I sincerely hope my belongings somehow turn up. If they do, I will gladly update this review. But as things stand today, I entrusted possessions that mattered deeply to me to this company, and some of them never made it home.

Kuat and Bek handled my family’s move from San Diego to Oceanside. They arrived on time and moved efficiently. They were incredibly professional and everything delivered with no damage.
Communication was subpar. Movers we no shows. The morning of our move I reached out and asked for a time and was told “afternoon”. 12 noon came around and no movers. I reached out and asked for an ETA was told the morning job was too large and it would be 3pm or 4pm. Mind you we have waited all day have all our items ready to go! At 4:30pm I was was called and told they can only send 3 movers when I was quoted for 2 and they he didn’t know what do to. I would have to pay for the 3 mover after haven been waiting all day and the lack of logistics on their part. No thank you! I was not as my load was provided beforehand and was quoted for 2 movers. Very unprofessional! Now we are forced to move ourselves last minute!

The guys from ProMen did a great job for me. They gave me a great rate, they showed up on time, got right to work, cleared me 12x15 fully packed storage in an hour and 20 minutes. Got to my new place and unloaded, had everything in the new place in 3.5 hours. Great job, guys. Highly recommended, will use again!
They get two stars only because the movers were pleasant. The move took far longer than anticipated (possibly due to a warm day?), and several pieces of wood furniture were damaged along with black stains on a white dining chair cushion that were absolutely not pre-existing. Due to the length of time the move took, it made no difference that their quote was more reasonable per hour than other moving companies. And, nothing was offered in relation to the damaged furniture. Would not recommend. Please do your due diligence before booking.

5 Stars! I had an amazing experience with Pro Men LLC! DIIAS and Dastan were absolutely fantastic—super professional, friendly, and most importantly, incredibly efficient. All I had to do what show them what needed to be moved and they took care of everything from there. They finished the move even quicker than expected, which saved me time and stress.
