Tamela came to my house for an on-site estimate and walked through everything with me — then became unreachable afterward. Devin took over from there: he tried to sell me additional work I never asked for. The soffit and siding repairs we had discussed on site weren't even included in the written quote. And now they want to raise the price by 20%. If the price can be changed at will before final payment, where is the credibility? If what we walked through doesn't make it into the estimate, what was the point of the site visit? I would give 0 if I could.

I had found Pure Gutters from NextDoor app. They reached out to me.  They ended up contacting me via Thumbtack.  I had gotten 1 other quote prior to Pure Gutters coming out.  Zack seemed earnest and eager for the business and offered competitive pricing against my first quote, but not by much.  I agreed to the contract for $4000.  It was mid September for the gutter job.  I was pressed for time to get gutters installed before cement contractor started their work.  My old gutters were leaky and the leaks would damage the new concrete.  Zack told me a 2 man crew team would work and only 1 person showed up.  That contractor assured he worked solo all the time.  I would have NEVER agreed to the job if I knew only 1 person was showing up.  I don't care how good you are, trying to string up. 20-ft sections of gutter by yourself is ridiculous. It took 2 days to install the gutters. The contractor was busy focusing on the leaf shield screens instead of putting in the downspouts. That night, it rained hard for over 8 hours. The rain was just pouring heavily into the foundation.  I had so much anxiety thinking my basement was going to take on water. Had the contractor focused on the downspouts instead of the leaf screens, water would have been able to channel away from the foundation.   I had mentioned to the contractor that the rain was forecasted.  Fast forward a couple weeks and I had the concrete work performed.  It was then I noticed multiple leak areas from the new gutters staining the new concrete.  I called Zack and texted him as well.  He told me he was busy with installed other jobs.  It let me know that once he collected my money, I was no longer a priority.  Finally another contractor came out and fixed the leaks I pointed out. Forward now into early November and we had freezing temps overnight.  The next day, there were new leaks on the concrete from the gutters dripping.  Leaks that I NEVER had before the new gutters.   I messaged Zack again.  He assured me he would send out another crew.  The last message was on 11/11.  It is now 11/17.   No response. Nothing.  This is how your company goes out of business. Your warranty on workmanship is worthless as you don't stand behind your work.  It takes 5 seconds to be professional and respond to a text or call.  Not days on end. I would never recommend your company to anybody. Edit update: 1/16/2026 I had originally purchased entire new gutter system September 2025. I had texted/emailed/called with various complaints that the gutters installed were leaking. Zack sent out a THIRD crew to fix the leaking gutters. This last 2 man crew spent 7 hour rehanging everything because the first guy did such a bad job. I'm still not sure why the second crew couldn't fix the gutters right. Zack stated he is no longer using the subcontractor that did the original install. As a home owner, it does not give me any assurance to tell me about subcontractors that are subpar that were allowed to work on my home. I have moved this review from 1 to 3 stars. I will give the gutters a full year and continue to review/update. I'm hoping that by the end of a year, I will be able to give back more stars to this company.

Even though we initially contacted this company for permanent lighting, I was intrigued by their gutter hangers and screens. Zack was friandly professional and the work was done exactly as specified. Workers were punctual and cleaned up. The price was fair as well. I highly recommend Pure Gutter Solutions!
