Appointment was cancelled at the last minute. And the person from thumbtack tried giving me information that wasn't matching the email notifications I was receiving. Poor service
1) He installed an undersized breaker and never told me that would be the case ahead of time. 2) The breaker that he installed was a used one that he said was just sitting around his office and it failed the next day. When he returned to put in a new breaker, it then worked. He did not inform me he was using used parts for the $700 I paid him. 3) I wanted to do things right and get a permit for the job. He told me there was a $200 permit fee which implied that is what the county charged. Then he never submitted for the permit until I followed up with him weeks later. On the permit, his cost was only $46 and he claims the rest is just the cost for him submitting the permit online. He did not even show up for the inspection. There was no additional work for him other than submitting this online yet he defends charging $150 for doing that.
Carlos was and his Team were efficient and thorough - helping me out with a hardwired EV charger install. Highly recommend!
I met with 3 electricians and it was instantly clear Carlos (owner of Qualis) was the best expert. He easily knew how to handle all the intricacies of our electrical needs. He responded quickly, came out promptly, and gave great pricing. When they came out to do the work, they were as professional and friendly as they come. The work was done in less time than projected, and everything looks amazing and was done as promised. I've hired 10+ people off Thumbtack and dozens of contractors over the years and I can't think of a better experience than Qualis. We will be using them for all our electrical needs moving forward.

Very nice job! Did the work quickly and cleaned up after, Carlos even made sure I was happy with the TV hookups and it was level after the install of the outlet.
Everything about the experience with Qualis was fantastic. Carlos responded to my request promptly and on the day of the appointment, showed up on time. The light installation was quick - Carlos was very professional and I really appreciated him taking the care of our home when carrying the ladder/tools up in and out of the house. The little things matter! I will without a doubt use Qualis for any other electric needs.
