Randy was great when it came to skim coating the bedroom and living room in our very old house. Made the walls very smooth and ready for paint, as well as being very timely. Everything was also cleaned up nicely so we were not left with a mess. Would recommend and hire again.

Hired Randy and his team to hang and plaster my garage walls and ceilings after some water damage. Their Prices were reasonable and fair! They were reliable , responsive and cleaned up each day. They did a great job and even came back an extra day to do some touch ups to make sure I was happy! I will definitely use R & L Plastering again for any future projects. They were a pleasure to work with.. I highly recommend.
We hired Randy to plaster our refinished Basement walls and ceilings. We installed the drywall ourselves so he has his work cut out for him. Overall...he was very responsive, did great work and showed up when he said he would. He even came back to clean up an area that needed a bit more work. I would not hesitate to hire Randy for our next project.
Really nice group of guys. Very responsive and timely. Plaster work looks great, would hire again without hesitation!
Randy and team were absolutely amazing! Incredible craftsmanship. He hung three new ceilings and restored the plaster in several rooms for me. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!
Nice guys but I don’t think there really know what they’re doing. The first time they came out the work was pretty shoddy, and he told me it just looked like that because it hadn’t dried which wasn’t true. It is worth it to note that they did come back and the job came back better (albeit mediocre at best). The job doesn’t compare to the rest of the house in terms of quality. It started cracking in the same places less than a week later. I had another company come out and tell me it was an issue with the boards and workmanship and that it needed to be fixed. They don’t want to take responsibility for that. Now I have to pay to take the whole thing down with another company and re do it which is costing me a ton more (3k for demo and redoing it), plus they won’t refund me for what I payed them even though it needs to be demoed. A job that should have cost me $1,000 is now costing me $4,000. I’m taking them to court for the damages but I recommend you go through a reputable company and not thumbtack, it’ll cost you a lot more in the long run.
These guys did a great job from start to finish. Showed up ready to go, no time wasted, efficient and tidy (and fast). Very easy to talk to and explain what I wanted and answered all my questions with ease. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend! Might I also mention, they were 1 of 4 companies in which I requested an estimate, They were far the best price and down to earth.
R + L Plastering were professional, friendly, and provide great service. Highly recommend!
Updating my last review as now we are at the point we are going to paint, there are bubbles in many spots, the surface is far from smooth (which is what we requested). We have a yellow area on the ceiling as well. I am extremely disappointed, my fiancé saw flaws after it was done but I didn't think it was a big deal. NOW I see. To pay $800.00 for a small bathroom (we already had the blueboard) for it to come out like this? Now we will have to sand everything down before painting. We are not happy. Photos Attached. I will say that this was not Randy himself who did this it was his partner because Randy was away.
Everything went as planned.
