You can read all the reviews you want, but it's still a crap shoot when you hire someone. Until the work is done, you never know exactly what you'll get. R5 lived up to their word, got the work done quickly and overcame a challenge when the original idea wouldn't work. I also appreciated the fact that it was the Owner who came to give me an estimate and identified other issues that his team could and would fix.

Luke was very quick to respond to my need for help with my kitchen drain! He was right on time, very pleasant and polite. We had water damage in our condo and needed to remedy the issue quickly. R5 responded in a timely manner and helped complete our project within our timeline and to the level of quality we expected for our tiling job.
Luke came over to evaluate the job and provide an estimate. He instantly made me feel comfortable and confident in using their company to repair wood rot on our porch. However, the two guys that came missed quite a few spots and I had to ask for them to be repaired. They seemed to be in a bit of hurry to get the job done in one day. They ended up coming back the next day to finish but the job doesn’t really feel complete. Maybe it would’ve been helpful if the guys who would be doing the work actually came to evaluate the job. Another disappointing minor detail, they completely crushed my new hydrangea that was planted this spring. They were not careful when stepping in the flower beds.
Beware. In October 2024, we paid thousands to put in a natural stone floor in our shower. 3 months later, on January 2025, there was loose mortor and stones. Contractor came out and said mortor was bad, wanted to make repairs, had to push to get it taken out and replaced. Owner of company said they were not responsible for the mortor defect just labor. Pushed and they replaced floor. A few months later, another loose stone. They came back out to repair. Asked about sealing, Contractor said sealer was in the mortor, owner said we were good. Now, loose cracked mortor. Owner refuses to repair without charging. He said stone is not a durable surface and we did not seal. It was just put in 16 months ago and Contractor said sealer was in mortor. The fact is the floor has had problems since it was put in. Find a company that specializes in shower flooring, not a company that does it

Quality of work was outstanding! I will never call him again because when I ask questions in an attempt to figure out how to solve a problem Luke became very defensive and ridiculous. He lacks the ability to discuss problems with me, and he was texting in a very unprofessional manner. The drain line they replaced wasn't put through the curb. It stops just before the concrete curb and this allows water to collect in the pipe so it freezes the end of the drain line. I was trying to figure out what was going on and Luke texted me to call Pickerington and have them redo the curb. After a few texts like that I told him he was FIRED! I wasn't asking him to do anything.
Fast! came out and gave me a quote the next day, had their guy start The work 2 days later. and they ended up charging me less than their original estimate. Very happy working with them. Would definitely recommend.
I requested a garbage disposal replacement and disconnect/cap off the gas line for my oven, then later added a kitchen faucet replacement. The response time was quick and Dan came out the next day. He was able to provide a quote that I believed to be a good value and did the job the same day. He did excellent work and everything has been working great - above my expectations. Dan also explained a few things as he was working without talking down to me which is something I appreciate. R5 Industries will be my go-to.
