Hired Rad for a custom welding job. Bit of a language barrier but in the end worked well. He also fixed something I didn’t ask for and didn’t charge me for it.

Rad took a difficult and urgent welding problem and just made it go away. We had a gate that had been kicked in and was completely off the hinges. It was an aesthetic and functional problem, but it was also potentially a security issue. He realized that and made time to fix it same day. Did a great job and paid attention to detail, all the way down to making sure the paint finish matched the adjoining fence. Very pleased with the work.
Excellent professional workmanship
Gave a fair quote and started welding project immediately. Also, removed most rust and spray painted primer. Owner finished next day painting the deer.
I had four railing posts rusted out at the bottom. I thought the estimate was to replace just the bottom rusted ends. To my surprise all four complete posts were replaced and the repair was done as if it were his own house. The two other quotes were to replace the existing railing and for 1/3 of the price it looks like it is brand new.
Rad did work on 2 wrought iron fences for me at 2 different locations in the same day. He was punctual, very detailed, and professional. I was very satisfied with the quality of his work. For building, repairs, or maintenance I would highly recommend RAD WELDING. The service was fantastic.
Very nice work. Gave us 3 options on what we can have done for our iron fence gate to work the way it should. He was very explanatory and very patient in our decisions. I highly recommend our guy with a 10 star if they have instead of a five-star. My husband is so excited and happy that he still talks about how easy and safe our gate is after trying with others, and no one couldn't figure it out. Thank you again, Rad. 💓
I cannot say enough great things about Rad and the incredible work he did for us. He helped us weld our LiftMaster dual swing gate opener, and from start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. Rad was not only highly knowledgeable, but also extremely kind and patient. He took the time to understand exactly what we needed, explained the process clearly, and made sure everything was done right. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a genuine and professional attitude. What truly stood out was his dedication and work ethic. Despite the bitter cold and strong winds, Rad showed up ready to work and never once cut corners. He stayed focused, worked diligently, and made sure the job was completed to a high standard. That level of commitment is something you don’t see every day. On top of that, his pricing was very fair, especially considering the quality of work and the challenging conditions he worked in. It felt like he genuinely cared about helping us, not just completing a job. Overall, this was an excellent experience. If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and hardworking, I would highly recommend Rad’s Welding without hesitation. We are truly grateful for his help and would absolutely work with him again in the future.
We hired Rad from Rads Welding to replace the 6 gates and fence at three of our properties, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Rad is extremely experienced, professional, and very easy to work with. From our first meeting, he took the time to walk through each property, discuss the work that needed to be done, and explain the process clearly. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Rad and his team made sure everything was measured properly, installed correctly, and finished cleanly. The quality of the welding and installation was outstanding, and you can tell they take pride in their work. The new gates and fence look great and feel very solid and well-built. We saved thousands of dollars compared to other welding companies in Chicago. Rad was also very friendly, reliable, and communicative throughout the entire project. He showed up when he said he would, kept everything organized, and made the process smooth and stress-free for us. If you’re looking for someone dependable who does high-quality welding and fence work, I highly recommend Rads Welding. We are extremely happy with the results and would absolutely hire Rad again for future projects.
My wrought iron gate was stuck shut and could not open (not lock issue, but due to heavy door shifted overtime). Rads welding came by on Sunday, identified the problem and resolved the issue in a swift and even coated rusted part with paint. Now my gate swings open and shut smoothly without any issue. Professional, honest, high integrity contractor. Highly recommended to anyone who needs help with gates/fences.
The welder was very knowledgeable and skilled when it came to welding work. However, it was my mistake to also have him install a doorknob, which was outside of his expertise. The installation was rushed and poorly done, resulting in additional damage and more money spent to fix the issue. I would recommend him strictly for welding-related jobs, but not for general handyman tasks.
It was a pleasure working with Rad. He was very responsive and advised me on the fixes I needed on my gate, being careful not to over engineer the solution. I’d recommend him to anyone!
We had a wonderful experience with Rad. He did an excellent job attaching the railing on the right side of our building. He took the time to carefully cut the pieces so they were perfectly even, painted them a sleek black, and left the whole area looking absolutely beautiful. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in his work really show. We couldn’t be happier with the result and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality and professionalism!
Rad’s Welding arrived Saturday as scheduled reviewed and estimated my project and started the work. His work ethic and professionalism were displayed by the finished product. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and his work expertise and skill. See for yourself. I will definitely use Rad’s Welding again.
Rad Welding was very helpful in helping us with our wooden exterior stairs renovation project. Our HOA building is thrilled to have the new stairs! All other bids we received suggested a full replacement, while Rad was very honest and helped us understand how the metal railing could be restored, repainted, and improved while keeping the original design and structural integrity. The quotes were delivered on time and very competitive. Would 100% recommend Rad’s services to others!
I had Rad come out to my in law’s house to install a new railing for the front of their house. All other contracts suggested I replace the current railing and spend thousands of dollars. Rad evaluated my current railing and recommended we use the existing one and just paint it. He saved me so much money. Highly recommend his quality of work
Was happy to get railing so fast. I was worried that snow would come before the railing. Rad worked quickly and well and did great job. Very nice gentleman!
Rad’s Welding did a very good job at making and installing our railing.
Rad's Welding has a robust back-office system. I received a professional proposal and signed it electronically using Docu-Sign. I used similar solutions working for billion-dollar corporations. I'm expecting Rad this morning to begin the project.
Had a large hand rail rust off and Rad reattached it nicely. Much better than starting over.
