Updated review Oct. 20th Although I received the partial refund that I requested, I was disappointed with the overall service and would not recommend this mover. They arrived 30 minutes late, rushed the job, and failed to adequately protect my furniture, resulting in scratches and chips to several cabinets. They also declined to use the straps I provided and lacked proper equipment for the job. The refund was only resolved after I set a deadline and contacted Thumbtack. I appreciate that the refund was ultimately issued, but it does not change my overall experience. Initial Review: Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service I received. The movers arrived about 30 minutes late and then rushed through the loading process, completing the job in only about 90 minutes despite the 3-hour minimum quoted. My furniture was not adequately protected, and several cabinets were scratched or chipped. I had provided straps to secure the items in the U-Haul, but the movers declined to use them, leaving me concerned that some items were not properly secured. They also arrived without adequate wrapping materials or a dolly for heavier items. Given the rushed loading, lack of proper equipment and resulting damage, I feel I overpaid for the service I received.
I was SO impressed. Very easy to communicate with, very polite. They took the time to do the job right. It takes a team of several people to move a piano, and they were all very pleasant people. Scheduling was quick and easy.
I was very pleased with how my piano was moved. Communication was great, the crew was professional, neat, and very nice. They maneuvered the piano from the starting point through a difficult stairway and had very good control the entire time. I highly recommend them!

Rain or Shine movers were able to move me with only two days notice, they did a great job, did it quickly and I would hire them again.

Rich and his crew were excellent and helped me unload a jam packed container of furniture and boxes into new house. They were responsive, professional, moved quickly but carefully, did great quality work, and no hiccups. Would highly recommend to others.

Great company to work with and incredibly attentive. An item of mine was mistakenly left behind and Richard personally called me and went to pick it up himself and drop it off at my new house. It was the last thing I wanted to deal with and I was so relieved! It’s rare to see such integrity these days and I really appreciated the effort!
I needed a few items moved up and down floors of my house, and they scheduled me two days later. They had a great attitude, were flexible, and problem solved, which exactly what you want out of movers.

Richard and his team were amazing. This has to be one of the best experiences I’ve had with a contractor over the last 20 years. They worked as a team. They came ready, prepared, on time, with the right equipment and the right attitude. They were conscious about protecting the furniture and making sure I was truly satisfied in what I was requesting. They came with a plan and they executed flawlessly. And I have to admit, it wasn’t as easy as we first anticipated. These guys were great! 5stars and my personal endorsement for anyone looking to hire pool table movers or any general contracting needs. I’ll be saving there number for the future. Thanks
