Reviews
I am so so so pleased with the work that was done! Ramirez was on time, very friendly, and he finished my project quickly. He did a fantastic job. The workspace was left clean. The price was fair. I will 100% be calling him again!
Olvido was great to work with. He problem solved in a way that no other contractor had before & saved us a lot of money! Good communications - and highly recommended.
Not responsive
O. Ramirez was very pleasant, professional and did a great job re- grouting my shower. He did everything as promised. I would highly recommend him.
They never showed up to our appointment, and stopped responding to my messages, but definitely read them.
Oviedo and his team did great work! They were always on time, professional, respectful, and did great work. I had them remove my popcorn ceiling and install recessed lighting and the work turned out great! Would use them again and recommend them to others.
This man wasted my time! He is not professional, he set up two consultations and first one he texted same day to post pone the consult to next day and second day he was a no show and no call. He didn’t even answer my call to say he was not coming. Just a complete waste of time!!!
Ramirez scheduled an on-site visit and never showed up or informed me that he would need to postpone the appointment even after I reached out to him on Thumbtack. Finally when I called him later on, I was told that he forgot to get back to me. If the beginning is like that, I wasn't sure what would have been the end, if I would have giving work to him. I hope my experience is one odd incidence as he has 5 star rating on Thumbtack.
We made an appointment for Wednesday. Day before they asked to reschedule for Thursday. I said okay. Come Thursday, they don't show up. I text and call and hear nothing. Never got a response. Pretty unprofessional.
Ramirez and his crew did an awesome job on a tile project in my condo (kitchen & fireplace). My unit has odd angles (by design) that makes placing tiles a laborious task but Ramirez’s attention to detail shined through in the end results. Recommend and will hire again.
Removed popcorn ceiling in living room, kitchen area, and hallway back in mid March. Looked great when finished, but 4 months later I have bubbles and cracks in areas of my ceiling. Reached out about warranting their work (fixing areas). No reply. Finding it very disappointing they don't stand behind their work but they will take your money...
Quick response. Very friendly. Very nice. Showed up when he said he would. Finished work in 3 days....but had to call him back to repair dining room ceiling again (it cracked again). Looks much better now. Popcorn was removed from living room and painted...but I need to have it painted again. He said drywall was old and did not absorb the paint the same throughout the ceiling. He thought it may get better after drying more. It's been over 2 weeks. Cleanup not so good. I still have paint on my hose outside and on several plants.
In all of the years I’ve hired vendors to work at various houses, I can honestly say Ovidio is the best I’ve ever worked with. He tackled a long list of projects including installing new light fixtures in three different rooms (and doing all of the painting and patchwork himself afterwards), replacing an old curtain rod and curtains with new ones, replacing all of our outdoor lightbulbs, and so on. He also replaced all of our recessed lighting in our dining room to ensure they all matched which he did not need to do yet took the initiative to approach us about. He showed up on time, communicated with us, and did all of this in two days. He does it ALL and we are so grateful for his help.
Amazing work from Ramirez and his team. Very professional and perform an excellent job. I have been working with them since 2020, and they have completed every aspect of my home, including the floors, the new kitchen, the outside, and the interior painting.
Ovidio is kind, patient, listens to his clients, and gets the job done. He takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. We initially hired him and his team to paint the inside of our house, which we were very pleased with. We then asked him to renovate our kitchen, and we are very happy with his work again. There were times we ran into roadblocks during the renovation, and he continuously found ways to handle them. He was patient when we needed to process making a decision, and/or change our minds, and he went out of his way to execute little details; he was able to find crown molding to match the original crown molding of our house, which was built in the 1920s, and a dividing floor piece that exactly matched the wood color of the adjacent dining room floor. Finally, a GC is only as good as the people he works with. Gustavo and David, and Tony and the team he worked with for the backsplash, were fast, but thorough, and always involved us in the process. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen. We are sure we’ll have some projects to improve the house down the line, and look forward to working with Ovidio and his team again in the future.
Ovidio Ramirez and crew were on time, did quality work and finished a day sooner than estimated. We will use them again. Excellent contractor!
Was able to help me in short notice! Great communication, work, and fast! Would definitely come back for anything! One of the four walls.
The project was finished faster then expected, and the ceiling looks great.
He is very easy to work with and has been very professional. Would like to work again with him in future.
