I spoke with Anthony very professional individual who properly explained the process over the phone since this was our first time ever using an exterminator. When Jakob arrived very friendly and we did a walk through and he reassured me of what would get done and I was not disappointed very thorough in his job and overall work. We actually started seeing dead bugs around the property so I’m glad to have gone with this company.
After battling a gopher problem that was destroying our front lawn, we reached out to several companies on Thumbtack for quotes. They responded to my request on thumbtack quickly. I had priced around a bit and theirs was the best around. Anthony was able to schedule service the next day and Jakob showed up in the time frame no issues. He was kind and polite and did a very thorough job. We were so impressed with their service we are having them back to spray our yard which was very reasonable as well. They get 5 stars in my book and I will be recommending them to family and friends. Frank came out to my house and quickly identified the termite colony. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly an expert in his work. I appreciate the quality of the service he provided and the thoroughness of the treatment. That said, there was a bit of confusion around pricing and communication. The Thumbtack estimate listed $135, and I was initially informed that there would be an inspection first, followed by treatment at a later stage. However, treatment began and invoice of $550 during the same visit without prior notice of the updated cost. While I’m very satisfied with the work itself, clearer communication and transparency around pricing beforehand would have made the overall experience even better.
Hired this company to do extermination of ants. Did 2 treatments, ants kept coming back with larger amount 2 weeks after each treatment. Anthony, the owner of Rat Pact” texted me: “No worries I promise the ant treatment will be taken care of even if the 30 day warranty expires. I’ll make sure that it’s taken care of.” Ants came back even of larger amounts. I asked the owner to do one more treatment as he promised. To my surprise, he texted me: “Hi, not a problem at all. Do you want to switch to a monthly service? It will be a lot less expensive you’re looking at $75 instead of doing another one time cause we’ve already done two services and your 30 day warranty is up. The monthly service is only a minimum of three services no contracts, but it will definitely keep the consistency of the barrier up.” This business is making its money on doing repetitive treatments with not so concentrated chemicals on ants, that is why ants keep coming back. My friend advised me to buy Insect Killer Concentrate from Home Depot & do it myself, which I ended up doing instead of wasting money on service which does not provide a successful expected result, and only keep making shallow promises & take your money.
The communication started out good on thumbtack a few days ago for exterminating services with “Anthony” and then took a sharp turn south with who knows who wtf? I give him my home info+details in the morning to be ignored. Weird! No response? I even messaged them “ how long do I have to wait for an appointment after he verified he could accommodate me for Monday.. crickets! How unprofessional! What a waste of time!
I needed to find a new vendor for our routine pest control. Rat Pact responded promptly, did not try to upsell me. I was very pleased with the service.
Their first response to my request for service was very quick. I liked the people I've interacted with. They need a 2 hr window for all appointments which is a little bit of an inconvenience. It was agreed that after the first visit they would come back weekly until rats were no longer visible. They missed coming the 1st week after initial visit. I'm waiting to see when they will reschedule a visit.
I am not sure why I was only allowed to choose three of the five options because every one of the options they excel in. The value, the professionalism, all of it. Frank responded and was there within an hour. I couldn’t be happier. He removed a cat that had died in my backyard and had been decomposing for about two weeks before I found out about it as I was out of town. He was there in about an hour and a very short time later everything was taken care of.
I had already gotten an estimate and scheduled services a couple weeks in advance, but when an issue came up Rat Pact was able to respond and service my property the next day (a Saturday) to address my timeline. Extremely responsive and would use again.

Pay for a full year of service in December of this year had two or three follow up appointments no problem. I tried to schedule a follow up appointment a couple of months later only to be left. Scheduled an appointment. No one showed up no answer no response no reply no follow. I reached out a couple of weeks later again to see if I can get another appointment appointment scheduled. No one showed up no follow up no answer. No reply. Left me hanging twice now still have at least six months of service left. Do not recommend.
After firing another pest control co I've used for over 15 years due to gross negligence, it was refreshing to work with these folks. The rep explained everything well and was very professional. I'm having gopher issues but will definitely use this company again for our general pest control needs.

Anthony and his team did an awesome job exterminating the moles at my mother’s house! The job was done just as described, quickly, efficiently and professionally. We will have them come back for regular follow up in the near future. Highly recommend!

THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN LIKE RATS. I hired these people to come to my home to vacuum and clean my attic. They thought I wouldn’t go up to my attic. They hasn’t cleaned anything up, they just laid 4 mouse traps and left all the rat poop. That cost me $950. Now I’m disputing it with my bank to try and get my money. They will claim they “gave goods” in order to fight the transaction. BE CAREFUL!! Don’t hire them!! Alex is the owner and he sends his kids to do the job. He will site with his kids and run with the money. YOULL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM. They charge 1100 for “Clean and Sanitaztion” and give a “Discount” of 150 for first responders. BUT AT THE END THEY WILL NOW DO ANYTHING.
