Fixed a propane fireplace.
Fixed my gas fireplace and gas grill. Had to order parts but I expected that. Left the job site clean and demonstrated the working condition of my appliances. Pleasant experience.
I had a malfunctioned fireplace in my rental house. The repair was done quickly by replacing a pilot assembly. The charge looks reasonable. I will use this company again next time.
After a really difficult time finding somebody to fix my fireplace I finally found Refiners. They were very communicative in scheduling with me and the tech did a great job getting my fire to light again, and also cleaning things up after. Thank you!
Bad: Given a 12:00-2:00 appointment window, they showed up at 3:15. Good: Diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes. Bad: Did not have the part necessary for the fix. Good: No charge.
Tyler was very helpful with my questions & it ended up being an easy fix!
They called when they were on their way to my place and did a quick and great job
A few months ago, I hired Refiner's Fire Services because the blower fan would not automatically turn off/on for our gas insert fireplace. Additionally, there would be an electrical burning smell whenever the blower fan was on for more than a few minutes. The technician arrived on time and got to work immediately. He discovered the issue was a bad thermostat, which controlled the blower fan. I asked him about replacing, but he seemed to ignore me and said the fireplace was small enough that it wouldn't need a blower fan, but if I needed it, I could turn it on manually (which is a chore to have to do everytime we use the fireplace). He cleaned the fireplace, disconnected the thermostat, charged me the full service fee, then left. At the time, I was not happy with the service but trusted the technician that there would be no issues not having a working thermostat for our fireplace. Over the past week, the finish on the metal grate on the face of the fireplace has started peeling. This is due to overheating because the blower fan no longer turns on automatically because there is no connected thermostat. Also, the fireplace does not heat out living room nearly as efficiently as it did when our thermostat and blower fan were operational. Ultimately, I feel that the issue with our fireplace was unresolved and is now showing signs of damage, all while being charged the full service fee. I am unhappy with my experience and cannot recommend their service at this time.
Knowledgeable and helpful. Helped explain how the unit works and went through operation and options should I need replacement. Good job maintencing unit.
