The movers did a good job, but I was disappointed with the lack of pricing transparency. I was quoted $130/hr for labor only, but when the mover agreed to rent the U-Haul on my behalf, my rate increased to $185/hr for the entire move. I understood the additional cost to be associated with the rental/mileage…not a $55/hr increase. Had the full pricing structure been clearly explained upfront and included in the contract, I would have selected a different vendor. I paid the rate without disputing it, but I would strongly recommend getting all pricing details in writing before booking.
