Job seemed too big for him. He initially quoted me 300 and after seeing the working needing to be done 900. While he took pictures he did not outline everything in the scope of the work. Materials used did not match. Ended up hiring someone else to fix the sloppy work done. Was able to do the easy things like replace one fence board, install screens and siding on side of the house. Would not recommend for big jobs and definately don’t hire if everything discussed is not outlined in the scope of work he sends.

don't trust this person. not sure if he is real and know anything about handyman work. he took my home address and disappeared. the thumbtack phones says not in service I am concerned because not sure if he has criminal background. I have my phone ready to call 911 any time if someone tries to attach me or my property. I am going to complain to thumbtack and why they don't have a thorough background check

I hired Troy through Thumbtack to install six ceiling fans at our new home (five inside and one on the lanai), and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Communication was excellent. Troy kept me updated on when he was heading over, arrived exactly when he said he would, and got right to work. His quality of work is top-notch. Every fan was installed with care, he tested each one to make sure everything worked perfectly, and he cleaned up everything before leaving. You’d never know someone had spent the day working in the house. What really impressed me, though, was his professionalism and character. Before packing up, he asked if there was anything else I needed. The next thing I knew, he was checking to make sure our curtains were hung correctly and making small adjustments to help us out. That’s the kind of service you just don’t see very often anymore. I even tried to give him a tip because I was so impressed, but he politely declined, saying we had already agreed on a price.
