I accepted their bid to put a wall in and some light electrical in my basement. They agreed to come out and finalize the details of the project Friday so they could start work on Saturday. Then they told me the electrical would not be able to go through the wall for the light switch and outlet, they would have to install it on the outside of the wall which would look bad. So I asked them to take off any electrical and they said that would only take $200 off the price. Then they told me they could start Saturday, it would have to be Monday. Then he asked me to pickup a door from Lowe’s. I did that,and he came and said he actually needed a frame with a door. Then said they had an emergency and couldn’t start work Monday and would come Tuesday instead. Monday night I returned the door and got the door frame and bought insulation because they said they needed me to get that as well. Then they texted me Tuesday morning saying they had to cancel the job and couldn’t complete it due to a team issue. This cost me time, money, and effort as I had already taped out and moved all the furniture out of the room and protected the floor.
My parents had just had their bathroom remodeled and were so upset after one of them fell and broke through the drywall. We hired Remodel by Byron through the Thumbtack app and he was so fast to respond and set up a time that worked with our schedule to repair the damaged wall. His pricing was in line with other quotes we received and he had the job finished in just over two hours. The finished patch looks great and we are very happy with the results. We would hire again if the need arises.
Byron and his crew are very good! The estimate was clear and listed the scope of work. Starting time was fast and the quality is perfect. The project was a sizable one with bullnose and straight corners. The crew communicated well and did it exactly as wanted. Professional tools and equipment were used throughout. Byron and his crew cleaned up everything and hauled away masking tarps and floor protection used. And the drywall results speak for themselves! Highly recommend!

They did such a great job! It looks fantastic! I had a section of the ceiling by the chimney in the living room where the rain and melting snow had leaked in for years. They cut out the old drywall, replaced and repainted it. They were very friendly, patient, kind and professional. I couldn't scrub the stains on the bricks clean so I'm just going to paint over them myself with a brick color to save the look of the age of it. I highly recommend this company!
We needed a drywall replacement and we needed it quickly. Byron was amazing. We had Byron and his team drywall our garage. They were extremely professional and respectful of our space, cleaning up at the end of each day when they were finished. I will be using them again for other projects and would recommend them to anyone who needs drywall work done.
I have a double car garage and one haft of the garage ceiling was completely removed by the previous owner to add a master bath room and they never replaced the ceiling. Byron came and give me an estimate and in a few weeks when I was ready came and completed the in 3 days. He checked the progress daily and made sure I was happy with the day's work and if I had any concerns he would make sure they were corrected or taken care of. I am completey happen with the work he and his crew did and would recommend him to anyone needing work around the house done.

Hired Byron to sheet rock a small out building. Craftsmanship was poor as ceiling seams were not straight, after sanding there were depressions and large bumps, and places that were missed with joint compound. The worst part was the mess they left behind. I contracted for paint ready and it has taken 6-hours to clean up after them. Also be aware, Byron does not take his construction waste with him. I recommend PatchMaster's from Angi if you are looking for a sheet rocker
I hired Bryon and his team to install drywall, skim my walls and ceiling, paint the walls and ceiling, install LVP flooring, and install trim all on my first floor of a house i'm about to move in. His team did an amazing job. Bryon's brother is certainly a master of drywall! I couldn't believe how smooth he got the ceiling and walls. They look amazing! And a very nice and friendly guy. The paint looks great on the ceiling and walls. The ceiling is flawless and they finished painting very quickly. The flooring looks awesome also, they did a great job installing it, including around the rounded fireplace. The only thing left is the trim which they will have to come back and do, so I can update this review to let you know how that looks. The delay here is because of Menards and not Bryon's team. He was actually very understanding and is working with me on the delay. I couldn't be happier about the work, price, and speed that they finished this work in. Not to mention everyone on Bryon's team including Bryon are very friendly and nice people. I would certainly recommend them and I even plan on hiring them again to finish my basement later in the year.
For this basement remodel, Byron and his team did a fantastic job! They are very easy to work with, they are professional and hard working and their quality of work is great. lâ m usually a little unsure when working with someone new but I was reassured that he would take care of everything and he did. There may have been a couple things that I wanted in the a scope of workâ but i didn t verify when they sent me their bid. We worked it out together with no problems. I couldn’t t be more pleased with their work and that’s coming from someone that used to be in the building industry. I would definitely recommend Byron. I and his team for any remodel project. I will definitely be using them again when I add a bathroom to the basement.
So thrilled with Byron and his team’s work. I had a plumbing problem in my main bathroom the week I was to host a baby shower. Byron texted me quickly to offer, quoted a fair and affordable price, and was even flexible when I needed to reschedule twice. I could not recommend enough.
This is the worst drywall job that I have ever had done. We started work with Byron at the beginning of September and it is the middle of April and the job is still not properly completed. I assumed that I didn’t need to tell a drywall professional the standard of work that is expected. The quality of work is absolutely abysmal!! Please see the photos below. They left drywall all over the floor, on some of the walls and most of the areas were not properly sanded on our initial inspection. I had to leave town before the job was finished so I had my sister come by and review the job before paying him his final check. I saw the photos and told him it wasn’t done and he asked me what needed to be done. It should have been obvious if he knew what he was doing. He came back out. Told me he was done. I called my sister out to inspect. Still not done. I told him to finish but he started complaining he wasn’t making any money bc how far he had to drive! Excuse ME. Do the job right and you don’t have call backs!!!! I was wondering why we take a job if it was too far to drive to do a drywall job. You have to come back three or four times, the job was not done to satisfaction so we had to come out to do more. He asked to get paid again so I paid him more money bc the job was getting better with baby steps. I said I was going to pay him the remainder I was able to see the job addition came back. Every time I said it wasn’t done to basic level 4 standard (paint ready) he would ask me what else needs to be done or that “it’s just a little touch up and sanding. It won’t take long for YOU to do” WHAT!!He did not use any tape for any of the corners so now all the corners are cracked. now I’m spending my time, making all the repairs so I can paint I should’ve known I was in trouble when he kept asking me that I wanted texture on the walls. The photos I’m posting are from April. Some are from September. This should have been a 3-4 day job based on my experience with drywall crews in 2 other houses. Some of the photos are hard to see the depth of sanding that needs to be done. I have plenty more but I reached the limit. Final straw was that he left all the drywall trash and said trash removal was not part of the job. Don’t hire this guy. I already have a complaint lodged with Thumbtack
They are good at the work for mudding and taping. But not good at cleaning the mess after the job is done. They completed the job yesterday and left but I still see lot of mess around… and there’s dried mud on the floors, on the door frames, on the toilet seats and other places. Not good at standing for initial quote they give. They keep talking as if they are generous or giving for free for the same things they initially promised in the quote. They are very rude and Not good at communicating also…

Byron did a great job on the fireplace wall of mudding and sanding the area where I had replaced the drywall. He was very responsive and was able to finish the job in a few days, only because of drying time between coats. I would hire him again for any drywall work.
