About Resendiz VerBraken Builders
We are a small business. We take on only one project at a time, so that we can focus on your project and complete it ourselves, efficiently and in the quickest timeframe possible. We do not have employees - this is a family owned and operated business. We understand it would be more profitable for us to grow and hire employees and send them out to do jobs, but quality is our priority, and our best way to ensure the highest quality is to perform the work ourselves, to our exacting standards. If we respond to your request on Thumbtack, it's because we know we can exceed your expectations on your project. We don't bid every job that comes across. We get the greatest satisfaction seeing our clients' faces light up when they see their remodeled kitchen, bathroom or new custom fireplace. We truly feel that home is your refuge from the busy outside world, and we want you to have a comfortable space you enjoy.

Luis put in a subway tile backsplash in my kitchen and did an AMAZING job! I couldn't be happier with his professionalism, efficiency, and the results of his work. The tile work is meticulous! I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
Regrout shower - bottom edges and 2 vertical corners all the way up. In and out in 1 day and great work. Would recommend to anyone.
This was a kitchen backsplash job with lots of detailed cuts. They were fabulous in every respect. Very professional with an amazing attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with the result. I will definitely be contacting them soon for my next tile job, just as soon as I can decide on the tile.
They are a great company. Fair quote, on time, reliable, polite and cleaned up after the project!
We had a bathroom & laundry room tiled by VerBraken Builders. The laundry room & Bathroom look amazing. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have tile work done . Marcellus & Stephine Barnes
It is very difficult to work where I live. Many contractors wouldn't even consider it. Not only did they show up every day, they did a wonderful job with a challenging project. VERY good about cleaning up after the work. I look forward to having them back for more work. Lynn Maguire
We would highly recommend Luis VerBraken based on our experience with him and the really nice work he did in our home. Luis remodeled two bathrooms and installed a tile backsplash in our kitchen. The tile work (mosaic) in the bathrooms was not easy to work with, but he did a nice job of making everything line up and look great. We expanded the scope of the project a few times during the two months that he performed the remodel. He and his wife were professional about the changes and provided a full change order with a reasonable price for the added work. In general, I found Luis to be quite cost-effective for the quality of work he did. Luis is a hard worker, and other than a one week pre-planned family trip, he showed up without fail every day (and on quite a few Saturdays) to keep the project moving. We live in Piedmont and were a little concerned about the commute from his home in Santa Cruz but he has extended family to stay with in SF, so the commute did not impede the progress of the project. Luis is a pleasant guy to have around the home and does great work recommended for your next project.
Luis and company treated us with priority! We had a small project after a previous contractor failed to communicate and finish a bathroom remodel. VerBraken stayed in touch throughout the project and performed with professionalism. The flooring, tile and electric work were expertly completed -- I was very pleased! I would highly recommend this company without reserve and would certainly use them for the next major remodel.
Responsive, timely, informative and quality workmanship. They were a pleasure to work with!
